  • Patent number: 11898519
Abstract: A heating system for a component within a compartment of a spacecraft includes a fuel source, a gas generator, and a heat sink. The fuel source includes hydrazine. The gas generator is in fluid communication with the fuel source. The gas generator includes a catalyst. The catalyst is configured to decompose the hydrazine and generate an exhaust gas. The heat sink is thermally coupled to the gas generator and configured to receive heat from the exhaust gas of the gas generator. The heat sink is thermally coupled to the component within the compartment of the spacecraft to transfer heat from the exhaust gas to the component.

  • Publication number: 20210343095
Abstract: A method according to one embodiment includes determining, by a server, a location of a door in an architectural drawing and a room function of a room secured by the door based on an analysis of the architectural drawing, determining, by the server, proper access control hardware to be installed on the door based on the room function, a category of access control hardware, and a predictive machine learning model associated with the category of access control hardware, and generating, by the server, a specification based on the determined proper access control hardware.

  • Patent number: 10789797
Abstract: A peripheral controller for an access control system according to one embodiment includes a reader interface, a Power over Ethernet circuit, a processor, and a memory. The reader interface is configured to be communicatively coupled to at least one credential reader. The Power over Ethernet (PoE) circuit is configured to receive power over an Ethernet cable for powering the peripheral controller. The memory includes a plurality of instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by the processor, causes the peripheral controller to analyze credential data received via the reader interface make an access control decision based on the analyzed credential data.

  • Patent number: 10442560
Abstract: Transfer of objects between spacecraft can be achieved in a low gravity environment. A capture device can be part of a module that facilitates visualization of a vessel that approaches the capture device. The module can facilitate positioning of the capture device for reception of the vessel. The capture device can include spring-loaded locking arms that both allow receipt and prevent escape of the vessel. At least a portion of each locking arm can extend radially inwardly and axially toward a cushion damper of the capture device. The locking arms can move radially away from each other upon application of a force from the vessel that is axially toward the cushion damper. The locking arms can move radially toward each other upon application of a force from the vessel that is axially away from the cushion damper.
