    Abstract: A detachable structure for mounting a cover over the bed of a pickup truck, for quick attachment without bolting. A pair of mounting brackets are provided, each including surfaces which interlock with the pickup bed side walls when placed thereon. These mounting brackets releasably engage the cover in a manner to allow pivotal movement thereof. Coil springs extend between the cover and the mounting brackets to retain the brackets on the bed side walls and hold the cover in the open or closed position.
