Abstract: A system for device-to-device media capturing is described herein. An example system includes a media delivery system of a media service and at least a first and second device associated with respective first and second user accounts of the media service. The first device is also associated with an active media content item provided by the media delivery system that is automatically captured by the second device. For example, as the second device is moved proximate to the first device, one or more wireless communications are transmitted between the devices that trigger device-to-device media capturing. Resultantly, an identifier for the active media content item is stored to a library of the second user account of the media service. The identifier is stored in response to detecting the proximity of the devices and determining that the second device is moving towards the first device.

Abstract: A system for monitoring occupancy of a seat arranged in a transportation vehicle is disclosed. The system includes at least one detection device arranged in the vehicle, within the seat or near the seat, and at least one centralized occupancy management system located outside of the vehicle and at least one occupancy management system located outside of the vehicle. An occupancy displaying unit is arranged on the seat or next to the seat for providing visual information about seat occupancy. The passenger's mobile communication device is used by the system for locating the passenger inside the transportation vehicle, by means of dedicated device detection units arranged in the transportation vehicle. The centralized occupancy management system and the occupancy management system are informed in real-time about the seat's occupancy.

Abstract: A toy is identified by locating a marker within image data that includes data that represents a toy and data that represents the marker; obtaining one or more marker samples, each of the one or more marker samples including a measured value of a color metric of the marker; determining a color metric offset based on the one or more marker samples and a known value of the color metric of the marker; obtaining one or more toy samples, each of the one or more toy samples including a measured value of the color metric of the toy; applying the determined color metric offset to at least one of the toy samples to determine a corrected color metric of the toy; and identifying the toy as a particular toy based on the corrected color metric of the toy.
