Abstract: A system and methods for displaying voice-animated multimedia content through a story. A computer-implemented method for animating multimedia content includes creating a customized story based on input from a user, the input determining one or more words and one or more types of multimedia content for the story; synchronizing the one or more types of multimedia content to match the one or more words of the story; displaying the words of the story to a user via a computing device; determining whether the words of the story were correctly vocalized in the correct order by the user; playing the multimedia content through a display and an audio output on the computing device in response to one or more correctly vocalized words in the story by the user; and analyzing the user's reading and pronunciation of the words in the story.
