  • Patent number: 10744683
Abstract: A method of producing a wind turbine rotor blade For that purpose metal particles, metal powder or metal chips are mixed into a matrix used to produce the rotor blade. Inductive heating of the matrix with the metal particles, metal powder or metal chips is then effected to harden the matrix in at least one portion of the wind turbine rotor blade.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 29, 2016
Date of Patent: August 18, 2020
    Assignee: Wobben Properties GmbH
    Inventors: Benjamin Theile, Alexander Hoffmann
  • Patent number: 10344738
Abstract: A rotor blade element, in particular produced by a process according to claim 10, in particular a rotor blade edge for a wind turbine, with a base comprising a fiber material saturated with curable resin and with a surface foil, with, arranged between base and surface foil, a bonding layer. The invention proposes that the surface foil comprises polyethylene with ultra-high molecular weight and that the bonding layer comprises a first rubber layer and a second rubber layer, where the first rubber layer is allocated to the surface foil and the second rubber layer is allocated to the base.

  • Publication number: 20180043648
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for producing a preform for a rotor blade of a wind turbine. The method comprises the steps of providing at least one semifinished textile product on at least one roll, applying a binder onto the semifinished textile product and/or heating the semifinished textile product, draping the at least one semifinished textile product from the at least one roll onto a core, and curing the semifinished textile product after the draping on the core. The draping is in this case carried out by means of rotating the core.
