Abstract: A mounting assembly for operationally attaching an agricultural implement (including, without limitation, a rake assembly) to the front of a tractor or other motorized vehicle. The mounting assembly permits responsive turning of an attached agricultural implement. A suspension assembly allows use over uneven terrain and maintains desired contact with such terrain. Among other benefits, the mounting assembly permits the use of a first agricultural implement in front of a tractor or other motorized vehicle, while a second agricultural implement can be pulled or towed behind the tractor or vehicle; thus, multiple operations can be combined, thereby greatly improving efficiency, cost effectiveness and environmental impact of such operations.

Abstract: A down hole apparatus for filtering debris from a fluid in a well bore including a screen sub, a diverter assembly connected to the screen sub, a screen section extending from the diverter assembly and connected to the screen sub. The screen section includes a plurality of openings for filtering debris from the fluid. The debris collects in an annulus between the screen section and the screen sub. The diverter assembly includes a detachable plug having a fishing portion capable of engaging a fishing tool. Removal of the detachable plug with a fishing tool opens a central passage through the diverter assembly and the screen section. The diverter assembly may include an outer and an inner body and one or more passages between the outer and inner bodies. The detachable plug may include one or more dog members capable of engaging the inner body.

Abstract: A telescoping, adjustable length tool basket, particularly suitable for offshore operations in the oil and gas industry. A center section has four elongated, tubular corner members, joined by bottom and side members. At least one, and preferably two, wing sections comprise elongated inner corner members that are slidably disposed within the outer corner members. The wing sections can be moved inwardly and outwardly from the center section to adjust the overall tool basket length to accommodate the tool length. When adjusted to the desired length, a lock pin is inserted through aligned holes in at least one pair of outer and inner corner members, to lock the tool basket at the desired length. Inner and outer bushings are disposed in the annulus between the inner and outer corner members. Preferably the bushings are of a polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE) material such as Teflon®.

The launching assembly launching a first ball upward into a hitting zone so that a batter may attempt to hit the first ball with a bat. The hitting zone is at a predetermined and adjustable vertical height. The ball capturing assembly receives the first ball should the batter swing the bat and not hit the ball and funnels the first ball into position for a subsequent launch by the launching assembly. The batting device may have a ball feeding assembly operatively associated with the ball capturing assembly.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling the flow of a medium. The apparatus comprises a base having a plurality of arms extending from the base. The base and arms define a cage. A valve member is positioned within the cage. The apparatus further includes a biasing housing disposed within the base, and wherein a spring is disposed within the biasing housing. The apparatus further includes a passageway formed about the valve member when the valve member is opened so that the medium flows on the outer portion of the biasing housing, and wherein the flow of the medium in an opposite direction urges the ball into engagement with the valve seat. When the valve is open, the medium collapses the spring and the valve member blocks the flow of the medium from entering the biasing housing. A method of drilling a well with the flow valve positioned on a work string is also disclosed.

Abstract: A screen apparatus for use in a well bore. The apparatus comprises a latch; a first tubular disposed within the latch, the first tubular having an internal retrieving profile; a screen extending from the first tubular, and wherein the screen contains a first portion with a first outer diameter, and a second portion that extends to a second outer diameter, and wherein the first outer diameter is larger that than the second outer diameter. The apparatus further comprises a diverter device operatively attached to an inner portion of the first tubular, and wherein the diverter device contains a passage to divert the fluid to an outer portion of the screen. In one preferred embodiment, the screen comprises a series of longitudinal slots of progressively smaller length. Also, the screen may contain a stepped outer diameter portion and inner diameter portion. A method of cleaning debris is also included.

The attachment pin cooperates with a groove formed on the sleeve's outer diameter surface. The apparatus may further include a pulling tool. The pulling tool contains a plurality of dog members disposed about a mandrel, and a spring that urges the dog members into engagement with a protuberance on the mandrel. The apparatus further comprises a shear pin attaching the dog members to the mandrel and wherein the shear pin is disposed within a slot so that the dog members can move axially relative to the mandrel.

Abstract: An apparatus for assisting the advancement of a work string. In the preferred embodiment, the work string is concentrically disposed within a highly deviated tubular member. The apparatus comprises a cylindrical member having a first half clamp and a second half clamp having an arcuate inner portion, with the first half clamp and second half clamp being connected with a hinge. The apparatus further includes a first housing attached to the first half clamp and a second housing attached to the second half clamp. The apparatus further comprises a first roller inserted into the first housing and a second roller inserted into the second housing. In the preferred embodiment, the first and second rollers are spherical. The apparatus may further comprise a first deflector plate operatively associated with a first side of the first housing and the second housing. The first deflector plate has a first end adjacent the cap member and a second end adjacent the first half body so that an angled end is formed.
