  • Patent number: 10561722
Abstract: Compositions and methods are described for generating an improved effective immune response against an immunogen in humans. The enhanced immune response, is obtained by using an MVA vector as a prime and an adenovirus vector as a boost and is characterized by a high level of antibody response specific to the immunogen, and an enhanced cellular immune response. The compositions and methods can be used to provide a protective immunity against a disease, such as an infection of one or more subtypes of Ebola and Marburg filoviruses, in humans.

  • Patent number: 9852374
Abstract: In one embodiment, prior to similarity measure computation, concept expansion is applied to an original ontology to generate an expanded ontology having the original concepts plus one or more pseudo-concepts, wherein at least one original concept is defined using a hierarchy of (possibly transitive) properties. As a result, the similarity measure computation can produce results that are better than those produced using conventional techniques. In one implementation, the similarity measure computation involves combining two similarity results: a first similarity result corresponding to common semantics found in the two concepts and a second similarity result corresponding to dissimilar semantics found in the two concepts.

  • Patent number: 9230215
Abstract: In one embodiment, prior to similarity measure computation, concept expansion based on disjunctive normal form (DNF) decomposition and non-conventional reasoning is applied to an original ontology to generate an expanded ontology having the original concepts plus one or more pseudo concepts. • Publication number: 20140146012
Abstract: A screen allows binary information to be transcribed in an electrical field, with a meaning depending on a value of binary information, on an area of the screen. The screen therefore provides an electrical image which can activate a glove when the user is touching the surface of the screen with a finger.

  • Patent number: 8601454
Abstract: A device (D) is intended for optimizing composite applications comprising at least two orchestrated activities participating to at least one process. This device (D) comprises i) an analyzing means (AM) arranged for determining orchestrated activities contained into a composite application to be optimized and dependencies between these activities, and ii) an optimizing means (OM) arranged for determining a new orchestration between the determined activities which allows the composite application to execute requests of users in a minimal time, according to the determined dependencies and to predefined rules, and for outputting an optimized composite application based on the new orchestration.

  • Publication number: 20130073712
Abstract: A method for acting on an object by means of an interface with an information processing system, comprising a step of defining a logical representation of the object, a step of determining (by a user) and triggering a function of the object offered by the representation, and a step of communicating with the object for actually carrying out said function, which method is characterized in that the logical representation comprises at least one state graph in which the graph's states represent the states of the object, and the graph's transitions represent the object's functions, and in that the functions offered comprise the functions present on the outgoing transitions of the graph's current state.
