  • Patent number: 7493246
Abstract: This calibration device for a tool for modelling a system, on the basis of an observation of the outputs of the system, comprises means of processing the output data emanating from a device for simulating the system, adapted to acquire in a prior learning phase modifications to be made to the output data to match corresponding measurement data, and to modify the output data in accordance with the modifications acquired. It further comprises means of decomposition for carrying out a decomposition of the output data and of the measurement data into independent components, the processing means providing for a processing of the data emanating from the decomposition means. The invention finds application to the modelling of the trajectories of orbiting satellites or the modelling of mobile telephone networks.

  • Publication number: 20050136965
Abstract: The total powers transmitted and received by a given base station in a CDMA network, as a function of the sum of powers of channels dedicated to mobile terminals having active links with the given base station, are estimated by assuming the total powers transmitted by and received from the neighboring base stations at the given base station equal those of the given base station. Interstation to intrastation and intrastation to interstation interference factors are determined independently of the total powers transmitted to and received by the base stations and are a function only of path attenuation between mobile terminals in given positions and the base stations. The total transmitted and received powers of the given base station are estimated as a function of the ascertained interference factors, to circumvent a large number of iterations for a given power accuracy.

  • Patent number: 6850851
Abstract: An electric field emitted by an electronic equipment is measured by producing at least one radiation measurement in the radiating field of the equipment. Several sets of simultaneous near-field measurements, within a measuring surface located at a short distance from the equipment, are performed. The sets of performed measurements are processed by estimating the statistical properties of the radiated field at any point outside the measuring surface.
