Abstract: Alpine ski boot comprising a rigid shell base (2, 3) surmounted by an upper (1), the shell base being made in two pieces assembled together, i.e., a lower part (2) opening upward and extending substantially over the entire length of the boot and an upper part (3) extending above the front part of the foot and constituting a closing cover. The upper closing cover (3) carries a tightening arrangement (13) forming part of an internal foot position maintenance device (14).

The cam of the operating lever comprises sequential, connected first, second, and third surfaces (13a, 13b, 13c), the first surface (13a) extending at a relatively short distance (a) from the hinge pin (14), the second surface (13b) extending substantially horizontally in the unlocked position and being positioned at a distance (b) from the hinge pin (14) and beneath the latter, this distance being greater than the distance (a) separating this pin and the first surface (13a); and the third surface (13c) of the cam of the operating lever being positioned at the same distance (b) from the hinge pin (14) as the second surface (13b).

Abstract: A device for adjusting the control of flexion of a ski boot upper, in which a slide carries a maneuvering and locking lever constituted by an elastic element in the form of an omega which is articulated on the body of the slide by two coaxial end flanges. On of these flanges constitutes a locking catch and the body of the slide presents a ramp which cooperates with the lateral arm of the lever which bears the flange constituting a locking catch and which is shaped so as to cause, during pivoting movement of the lever, a movement of the lateral arm causing retraction of the locking catch.

Abstract: The slider (81 to 873, 9, 91, 92) is unitary with one element, the guide track (72, 73) with a second element. The slider (81) comprises two flexible arms (82, 83) which contact and cooperate with the sides (72, 73) of the guide track. A control lever (9), jointed onto the slider (81) around an axis (91), has a projection (92) which, for the purpose of fixing the slider (81 to 83) in position, fits between the arms (82, 83) so as to hold them against the edges of the guide track (72, 73) when the lever (9) is set in the locked position. Complementary forms (10), which interlock in the locked position, are advantageously provided on the arms (82, 83) and the edges of the guide track (72, 73) in order to ensure positive positioning. The invention is applied in particular to the adjustment of the geometric and mechanical operating characteristics of ski boots, especially to those having a shaft jointed onto a shell base.
