Abstract: An installation is provided for the wet treatment of textile materials disposed on material-carriers, comprising a tank with means for loading or unloading the material-carriers, a means for causing the treatment fluid to flow through said materials and, possible, a heat exchanger, each material-carrier having a box shaped base with an aperture for connection to an aperture of an adjacent material-carrier, or for connection to a first pipe of said fluid moving means which opens into a treatment volume so as to form a first fluid flow in one direction, the flow of said fluid in the other direction following a path which includes at least a second pipe of said fluid moving means also opening into said volume, this latter being limited laterally by walls extending between the floor and the vault of the tank and said first pipe and at least said second pipe each open into said volume through one or more passages formed in the vicinity of the floor of the tank.

Abstract: A method and installation are provided for the treatment in an appropriate apparatus of bodies of textile material introduced into and/or removed from the apparatus by means of a material carrier on which the bodies are loaded, the treatment such as washing, bleaching, dyeing or similar being carried out with a fluid flowing through the bodies in a circuit flowing in and out of the apparatus by the bottom thereof and established by matching sealing means provided on the carrier and the apparatus.

Abstract: A method and installation for removing water from, drying and/or conditioning fibrous, porous or filament materials. A stream of gaseous fluid is caused to flow through an enclosure, by means of a plurality of flow means, so that it passes through the materials to be treated under reduced pressure and/or with over pressure, from the inside towards the outside of the materials, or vice versa, and a stream of water vapor is caused to pass through said materials so as to accelerate the removal of water at the beginning of drying and/or to rapidly raise the temperature of the treated materials and/or to spray said materials, if desired, during drying.

Abstract: A machine for the liquid or gaseous treatment of textiles or other fibrous or porous materials, which comprises a partition (9) located in its end zone opposite its cover (2), which partition (9) forms, with the bottom of the machine (1) and the corresponding part of its side walls (14), a leaktight box which delimits an expansion zone for the treatment fluid, that part of the machine which is located between the cover (2) and the partition (9) forming the actual treatment zone (10), which accommodates at least one holder for the material, the machine further comprising a device for the circulation of the treatment fluid.

Abstract: A machine is provided for the liquid or gaseous treatment of textile or other materials having a material carrier and comprising, in a lower part thereof, a false bottom in which is formed a housing adapted to receive a heat exchanger, the false bottom defining a space or compartment with the bottom of the machine. A pipe having a vertical axis is mounted at the base of the machine, substantially in the axis of the latter. The space may be either isolated from the rest of the machine, or placed in communication with the upper part thereof through external or internal ducts, and inert bodies may be provided in the machine.

Abstract: A machine for dyeing, bleaching and drying pieces of fabric includes a generally circular, rotatable vat, an overflow box to which treating liquid is pumped from the bottom of the apparatus, the overflow box being positioned above the rotating vat, optionally a guiding and impregnation tube for carrying the fabric and treating liquid between the overflow box and the rotating vat, a roller for carrying the fabric to be treated and for recirculating such fabric between the vat and the overflow box, and a safety device for stopping movement of travel of the fabric when knotting or bunching occurs between the roller and the overflow box.
