  • Publication number: 20180339569
Abstract: A modular metal heating panel for a railcar includes a metal layer having a first surface for transferring heat into an interior space of the railcar. The metal layer also has a second surface. The heating panel includes a first adhesive layer disposed on the second surface of the metal layer and an electrical insulation layer bonded to the metal layer by the first adhesive layer. The heating panel also includes a heating element embedded within the electrical insulation layer. The heating panel further includes a second adhesive layer disposed on the electrical insulation layer for detachably bonding the heating panel to a structural panel of the railcar.

  • Patent number: 5798910
Abstract: A sealable housing for electrical components comprises an extruded main body having a first end and a second end, the extruded main body defining a longitudinal axis and having an outer wall and a substantially cylindrical bore. Two end caps are removably sealably attached to a respective one of the first and second ends of the extruded main body to define, together with the substantially cylindrical bore, an electrical component chamber. Thickened longitudinal outer wall segments extend radially outwardly from the cylindrical bore. The electrical components are mounted within the electrical component chamber by being conventionally attached to a trolley, which trolley is longitudinally interfitted to a mounting track contiguous with the extruded main body. The extruded main body is preferably constructed from aluminum.

  • Patent number: 4374635
Abstract: A mold unit and method for casting ceramic material in slip form is described. Each mold unit comprises a plurality of parts which when assembled for a casting operation define between them, two casting cavities, the casting cavities are positioned one above the other, into which slip can be introduced to form discrete articles and when removed from the mold while in the green condition are assembled to form a composite article.

  • Patent number: 4318679
Abstract: An apparatus for casting toilet tanks from ceramic material in slip form is disclosed. A plurality of mold parts which include two side mold parts which when assembled define a casting cavity and a core part which is positioned in the mold cavity and is spaced from the mold surfaces of the two side parts to define the front back and side walls of the toilet tank. One of the side mold parts includes an integral base for forming the bottom wall of the tank. Each side mold part arranged in a general horizontal line and are shiftable longitudinally to open and close the mold unit.
