  • Publication number: 20070033726
Abstract: A method for mounting a massaging micro jet in a slanted wall of a whirlpool bath, in a recessed position relative to the slanted wall, the micro jet being connectable to a pressurized fluid supply. The method comprises: performing an opening in the slanted wall; inserting a holding cup a predetermined orientation in the opening, the holding cup having a mounting flange at a free end, a bottom partition recessed from the free end, and a micro jet mounted to the bottom partition and having a port extending there through, the mounting flange of the holding cup abutting an inner surface of the slanted wall and the port being oriented substantially horizontally in the predetermined orientation; and securing the mounting flange of the holding cup to the slanted wall.

  • Patent number: 7127751
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for mounting micro jets on whirlpool bath surfaces. Micro jets are mounted in the bottom of cups. The cup containing the micro jet is mounted in an opening performed in the whirlpool bath shell. The proposed method is specially interesting for jets located on surfaces where fluid flows are obstructed such as the surface where a person's back rests when someone lies in a whirlpool bath. This method allows manufacturers to install micro jets those whirlpool bath surfaces without having a recessed part. Moreover, it allows to modify easily the fluid jet pattern depending on the consumer's needs. The present invention also concerns recessed micro jets for whirlpool baths and method for mounting the same.

  • Publication number: 20060130228
Abstract: A bathing device, such as a bathtub, a tub shower, a shower, a spa and a pool, comprises a substantially iron-free shell and at least one heating pad in direct conductive heat exchange contact with the shell. It also relates to a method for manufacturing a heated bathing device.

  • Publication number: 20050279447
Abstract: The method and system are used for producing a plurality of identical cards initially integrated on a common plastic sheet. The sheet is first stamped to simultaneously create at least one stamp on each card, each stamp comprising at least one metallic foil layer adhering on one side of the sheet. Then, the sheet is embossed to create embossings over at least a majority of the stamps. Finally, the sheet is cut to create the individual cards. The method and the system are capable of manufacturing mass-produced cards at a low cost and a high production rate.

  • Patent number: 4848992
Abstract: A gas filter system, suitable for use in a safety installation for nuclear reactor confinement vessels, comprises a generally cylindrical enclosure having a closed bottom. In an upper part of the enclosure is an inlet for the gas to be filtered. There is an outlet for the filtered gas at the side of a lower part of the enclosure. The gas passes at a low speed through a horizontal filter bed of predetermined thickness consisting of a layer of a granular filter medium. The filter medium is supported by a supporting layer of a lightweight granular material which has an average particle size greater than that of the filter medium. This layer extends down to the closed bottom of the enclosure. The filtered gas is recovered and conveyed to the outlet by a plurality of tubular members which have walls through which the gas can pass and which are placed in the supporting layer. These tubular members discharge into an annular manifold on the outside periphery of which is the outlet for the filtered gas.
