  • Publication number: 20130268296
Abstract: A system for identifying and monitoring risk of a plurality of predefined mental health disorders in a single composite score is provided. The system includes a network portal providing access to at least one patient and at least one health care provider; a patient symptom inventory including a grouped, listing of questions corresponding to a plurality of mental symptoms; and a patient assessment progress record including an assessment record for tracking the patient's risk of suffering from the plurality of potential mental conditions over time. The system receives patient responses to the patient symptom inventory and determines, based on the patient selected responses, a composite score indicating the extent to which the plurality of mental symptoms impairs the patient's functioning and individual risk assessments indicating the likelihood the patient is suffering from each of the plurality of potential mental conditions.

  • Publication number: 20040225529
Abstract: A method may identify, through a form, one or more medical signs, medical symptoms and/or medication side effects. The method may also record, through the form, one or more medical signs, medical symptoms and/or medication side effects associated with a person. The method may then identify, through the form, one or more medications that alleviates the one or more medical signs, medical symptoms and/or medication side effects associated with the person. The form may be a hardcopy and/or electronic form.

  • Patent number: 5588038
Abstract: A system and method for communicating with a remote location, such as a vehicle or building, the system including a calling transceiver, a central transceiver, and a satellite. In the system and method, the calling transceiver and the central transceiver (or central switching facility) are used to transmit a forward wireless communication over-the-air, through the satellite, and to a pager transceiver located in the remote location in order to control a device located in the remote location. Upon receiving the signal, the pager transceiver generates a first signal, which is received by a tripping circuit, which in turn generates a second signal. The second signal causes a switch to trip, which thereby controls the device located at the remote location. The pager transceiver also has the capacity to transmit reverse wireless communications through the satellite, which allows monitoring of the device.

  • Patent number: 5490200
Abstract: A system and method for remotely signaling a vehicle. The system comprises a pager unit for receiving a wireless communication and for generating a first signal in response to receiving the wireless communication, the pager unit being located in the vehicle. The wireless communication is transmitted by a transmitter to a central switching unit, and from the central switching unit, the wireless communication is relayed through a satellite to the pager unit. The system also comprises a tripping circuit, responsive to the first signal, for generating a second signal, and a switch, responsive to the second signal, for causing an action in the vehicle. The method comprises transmitting a signal by the transmitter to the central switching unit. The signal includes a remote location pager number corresponding to the pager unit and a predetermined security code.
