  • Patent number: 7757736
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for repairing a tubeless mounted assembly for a cycle, more particularly for a bicycle, comprising a rim and a tire. According to the invention, the repair device comprises an inner tube, the internal diameter D of which inner tube is greater than the diameter of the rim seats.

  • Patent number: 7578327
Abstract: A mounted assembly of the tubeless type for a bicycle, includes a rim and a tire having beads. The rim includes two wings attached to two seats which receive the tire beads. A tire reception zone is formed between the wings. The rim and/or the tire includes a stabilizing structure for stabilizing the air pressure at the level of the tire's outer surface, in zones which are neither in contact with the ground nor in contact with the rim, to a value of less than 2 bar. The stabilizing structure enables air to be conducted from the tire to atmosphere if a bead loses contact with its seat. The stabilizing structure can be in the form of holes in the wings and/or the seats, or in the form of channels or projections disposed on the wings. Alternatively, the stabilizing structure can be in the form of projections formed on the tire sidewall and arranged to contact the wings.

  • Patent number: 6976517
Abstract: The invention relates to a rim for cycles, more particular for bicycles. The invention is also aimed at a tubeless mounted assembly consisting of the said rim and of a tire having in particular two flexible bead wires. According to the invention, the rim consists of two flanges, attached to two seats, intended to receive the beads of a tire, separated from each other by a mounting groove, and, according to the profile of the rim in a radial plane, the bead seats have a generatrix, the axially outer end of which is on a circle of smaller diameter than the diameter of the circle on which the axially inner end is situated, the said generatrix forming an angle with the axis of rotation of the tire of between 15 and 45 degrees.

The invention is directed also at a rim for a cycle wheel and a tubeless tyre for a cycle.

  • Patent number: 5096656
Abstract: A detection unit (20) is moved under water inside the fuel storage pond (15), over the entire height and in the vicinity of a wall of the cell (2). The detection unit (20) comprises at least one probe for monitoring the thickness of the material. The probe readings are collected from a region (22) situated above the pond (15) and these readings are compared with reference measurements. The monitoring process makes it possible to verify the presence of the neutron-absorbing material in the side walls (10) of the cell (2).

  • Patent number: 4793059
Abstract: An automatic grounding means for a wiring device is provided by a spring clip formed from a single piece of wire in a generally U-shaped configuration, bent upwardly at both ends. The bent end portions are inserted through a pair of openings on opposite sides of the conventional mounting screw slot in the ears on the yoke of the wiring device, and are further bent either toward or away from one another to maintain the clip in firm engagement with the yoke without welding or other such permanent connection. When mounted on the yoke, parallel legs of the clip extend across the screw slot and are spaced by a distance less than the diameter of the mounting screw which thereby contacts the legs, flexing them outwardly, as the mounting screw is passed through the slot and between the clip legs to engage the flush box in which the wiring device is mounted. The engagement of the clip with the yoke assures a low resistance grounding path from the yoke to the clip to the screw to the flush box.
