  • Patent number: 8707790
Abstract: Method for optical pressure measurement of a gas in a closed container by directing a radiation of a radiator through the container and measuring the transmitted radiation by a detector, wherein the radiation of the radiator covers at least one first wavelength range in which there is an absorption of the radiation by the gas, the intensity of the transmitted radiation is detected in a second wavelength range by the detector, wherein the second wavelength range overlaps at least partially with the first wavelength range, and an accumulated intensity of the detected radiation in the second wavelength range is assigned to a pressure of the gas.

  • Publication number: 20120325379
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing corrosion-resistant and workable sheet metal consisting of uncoated steel sheets (1, 1?), comprising the following steps: —placing the steel sheets (1, 1?) in abutting relationship, —welding the or each joint groove (14) by butt joint welding by means of a welding beam (13) for forming a weld (2) along the respective joint groove (4), —thermal treatment of the or each weld (2) directly after or even during the forming of the weld (2) by means of an annealing beam (15), —full-surface coating of the joined steel sheets (1, 1?), including the or each weld (2), after cooling the welds (2), with a metallic coating.

  • Patent number: 7334977
Abstract: In a process for production of a lid ring (30) which can be connected to the can body, which borders a discharge opening (38) and has a heat-sealable coating (40) on which to form a can lid (50) a closing membrane (44) can be heat-sealed covering the discharge opening (38), a metal strip (12) with parallel side edges (14, 16) is formed into a tube (20) and the side edges (14, 16) are welded or glued parallel to the tube longitudinal axis (x). The tube (20) produced in this way is divided into tube sections (24) of equal length with cut edges (26, 28) lying in parallel planes. The tube sections (24) are formed into lid rings (30) where a first cut edge (26) is formed into an outer rim (32) for connection to a can body and the second cut edge (28) is curled away from the side intended for the heat-sealable coating (40). The heat-sealable coating (40) is applied to the finished molded lid ring.

  • Patent number: 5355129
Abstract: A measuring sensor device for the detection of physical quantities is equipped with an identification generator in whose memory module correction data (sensor identification data) are stored. For the transmission of identification data, the identification generator is connected, via two of the lines which are normally used for the measured value transmission and/or the energy supply of the measuring sensor device and another line used for a shunt calibration of the measuring sensor device, to the analysis circuit and can be activated and controlled by the latter. By means of a special wiring of the identification generator, correction data may also be fed into it during a calibration. The thus obtained system for the detection of physical quantities is therefore distinguished by high flexibility, simplicity with respect to circuits and operatability in extreme temperatures.

  • Patent number: 5008843
Abstract: A sensor device structurally not combined with an evaluation circuit, for detecting physical magnitudes is equipped with an answerback device, in the memory component of which are stored correction data (sensor identification and characteristic data). The answerback device is connected for the transmission of identification and characteristic data with the evaluation circuit by way of at least two of the lines normally utilized for the measured value transmission and/or the energy supply of the sensor device and by way of a further line serving the transmission of a clock signal and is activatable by the same. With the use of a further measurement line and by a special circuit of the answerback device, correction data can be read-in additionally into the same during a calibration.
