  • Patent number: 8855841
Abstract: A method for operating an electric vehicle, the electric vehicle having an electric motor and a brake device, and the electric motor and the brake device being capable of being influenced by a control device. When the electric vehicle is at a standstill, when there is an error of the control device, the brake device is actuated so that the electric vehicle cannot move, or at least can move only to a very limited extent.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 7, 2014
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
Inventors: Bernd Doerr, Roland Schleser, Holger Niemann, Markus Kretschmer, Oliver Kaefer, Daniel Damm, Dirk Gollub, Andreas Heyl
  • Patent number: 8589017
Abstract: In a method for determining the torque of an internal combustion engine of a motor-vehicle hybrid drive device which further includes a secondary electric motor coupled to the internal combustion engine, the torque of the internal combustion engine is determined at at least one operating point by comparison to the known torque of the secondary motor.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 25, 2008
Date of Patent: November 19, 2013
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH

  • Patent number: 8169173
Abstract: A method for controlling a vehicle drive unit, the vehicle drive unit having at least two individual motors. A total actual torque is continuously compared with an allowable total torque, the total actual torque being calculated from individual actual torque values of the at least two individual motors, and the allowable total torque being calculated from the allowable individual torque values of the at least two individual motors, and an error response being initiated if the comparison establishes that the total actual torque is greater than the allowable total torque.

Date of Patent: May 1, 2012
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH

  • Publication number: 20120081221
Abstract: In a vehicle, e.g., a hybrid vehicle, having an electrical device, which has an inadmissibly high voltage for being touched by a person, a signaling sensor configured to respond in the event of an accident is connected to a warning device for signaling the voltage level.

  • Patent number: 7500458
Abstract: In a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, an enabling condition is a function of at least one operating variable, of the motor vehicle and/or of the internal combustion engine. Starting and/or stopping of the internal combustion engine are enabled as a function of the enabling condition. It is provided that the presence of the enabling condition be checked redundantly within the scope of a 3-level monitoring concept.

  • Publication number: 20080155405
Abstract: A method for initializing an electronic system which has a base interface and several module-like plug-ins connected to it. To allow for a flexible addition and removal of plug-ins, the base interface and the plug-ins exchange information in the process of initializing the system. The plug-ins communicate what processes (priority, time pattern etc.) they contain. In addition they communicate what quantities (variables, functions, structures etc.) they require for executing the processes and what quantities they are able to provide in the context of executing the processes. On the basis of the information received, the base interface connects the individual plug-ins with one another such that the plug-ins receive appropriate references as to where they may access the required quantities while executing the processes. The references are for example pointers to a memory area or pointers to a structure in another plug-in.
