  • Publication number: 20240135641
Abstract: A survey instrument comprising a single point and a point cloud measuring functionality, a communication interface, and a computing unit. The point cloud measuring functionality configured to emit a scanning beam along a first measuring axis and to advance the first measuring axis along a scanning pattern. The point cloud measuring functionality is configured to generate point cloud data representing a setting. The single point measuring functionality is configured to emit a measuring beam along a second measuring axis. The first measuring axis is referenced to the second measuring axis. The communication interface is configured to receive model data representing at least a part of the setting and comprising referencing data to an external coordinate system. The computing unit is configured to identify cardinal features in the point cloud data as well as in the model data.

  • Patent number: 9380925
Abstract: Provided is a household appliance, in particular dishwasher, tumble drier or the like, having a primary circuit which has a hygroscopic liquid, in particular brine solution, for extracting moisture from drying air, and a secondary circuit for drying wet articles by drying air, wherein a contact chamber is provided which has at least one dispersal element for surface area enlargement of the contact surface of the hygroscopic liquid for the drying air, characterized in that the dispersal element of the contact chamber has at least one drive for imparting drive and/or movement, such that for the surface area enlargement, the hygroscopic liquid can be dispersed with kinetic drive energy.

  • Publication number: 20080276486
Abstract: The invention proposes a domestic appliance having a cooling unit which provides an extended range of ways of utilizing the heat provided for the cooling unit as process heat during working operation of the domestic appliance. According to the invention, this is achieved by using a liquid sorbent and/or a liquid sorbent/refrigerant mixture.

  • Publication number: 20080276644
Abstract: The invention proposes a domestic appliance having a cooling unit with a sorbent from which a refrigerant can be separated by the application of energy, having a condensation unit for condensing the separated refrigerant, and a cooling unit for dispensing the cold of evaporation of the evaporated refrigerant, and having a control unit for temporally separately controlling the application of energy to the sorbent for separating the refrigerant from the sorbent firstly at a first time and dispensing cold by evaporating refrigerant in the cooling unit at another time, characterized in that the cooling unit is in the form of a physical unit which is separate from the condensation unit and is connected to the said condensation unit via a refrigerant-carrying line.

  • Patent number: 5497135
Abstract: A bistable electromagnet is moved from one operating position into the other by a short direct-current pulse, the next pulse following in each case having the opposite current direction. The essential factor in this is a permanent magnet which is arranged in the core area and which holds the armature against the action of an armature spring in one operating position. An electromagnet constructed in this manner can be produced without tolerance calibration and requires less control power when the permanent magnet is carried freely movably between two end positions in the direction of armature movement in a hollow space of the coil core. The coil core can be constructed as a pot, at the bottom of which the permanent magnet is magnetically held whilst the permanent magnet is held in the other end position by a stop in such a manner that its side facing the armature is approximately flush with the edge of the pot.
