  • Publication number: 20240029983
Abstract: An electromechanical system for an electrical switching device includes an energizing coil assembly having a first coil and a second coil each generating a magnetic field in response to an energizing current and a magnetic system providing a magnetic flux path passing along a plurality of magnetic flux lines of the magnetic field generated by the energizing coil assembly. The magnetic system includes a first pole member arranged on an upper side of the first coil, a second pole member arranged on an upper side of the second coil, and a rotation member arranged between the first pole member and the second pole member. The rotation member has a first lobe and a second lobe executing a rotation motion around a central axis. Magnetic field lines generated by the coils are directed toward the lobes and produce a resultant magnetic force that rotates the lobes toward the pole members.

  • Publication number: 20220157545
Abstract: An electric device includes an electric component and a housing having a lower housing part and an upper housing part. The electric component is supported on the lower housing part. The lower housing part and the upper housing part surround a housing volume in which the electric component is sealingly encased. A weld is formed between the upper housing part and the lower housing part. One of the lower housing part and the upper housing part has a protrusion welded to the other one of the lower housing part and the upper housing part. A gap is disposed between the lower housing part and the upper housing part, the gap extending radially from the protrusion to an outside of the housing. A solidified molten material from the weld is at least partially received in the gap.

  • Patent number: 11276540
Abstract: A yoke assembly for a magnetic switching device comprises a pair of pole faces including a first pole face and a second pole face, a first element, and a second element. The first element has a first section and a second section extending in a direction perpendicular to the first section and forming a part of the second pole face. The second element has a first section extending parallel to the first section of the first element in a mounted state. The second element forms a protrusion of the second pole face projecting beyond the second section of the first element.
