  • Publication number: 20080265206
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of 5-norbornene-2-carboxylic acid from 5-norbornene-2-endo-carbonitrile and/or 5-norbornene-2-exo-carbonitrile. The invention relates in particular to a process which enables 5-norbornene-2-carboxylic acid to be prepared at a high substrate concentration. The invention furthermore relates to a polypeptide suitable for enzymatic conversion of 5-norbornene-2-carbonitrile to give 5-norbornene-2-carboxylic acid, in particular also with a high substrate concentration, and to a nucleic acid encoding said polypeptide, to a composition comprising 5-norbornene-2-carbonitrile to 5-norbornene-2-endo-carboxylic acid and 5-norbornene-2-exo-carboxylic acid, and to the use of said polypeptide.

  • Patent number: 5560152
Abstract: A guide sleeve designed as a separate component is pushed onto the upper end of a guide rail of a drop window. This guide sleeve guides a window pane as soon as the window pane has almost reached its uppermost position. By means of an eccentric screw or other adjusting means, it is possible to adjust the position of the guide sleeve relative to the guide rail and thus to achieve the correct tension and position of the window pane in its final position.

  • Patent number: 4969421
Abstract: The present invention comprises a cooling device for an internal combustion engine disposed in an engine compartment of a motor vehicle. A radiator is positioned in front of the internal combustion engine. An axial-radial blower serving to feed cooling air through the radiator into the engine compartment is mounted between the radiator and the internal combustion engine. An air collection housing with an air outlet directed into the upper area of the engine compartment is connected to the axial-radial blower. The air collection housing and outlet collect and direct the cooling air fed by the axial-radial blower for the purpose of cooling the engine block, especially parts of the internal combustion engine that are thermally intensely stressed.
