Patent number: 11884477Abstract: A valve for dispensing a fluid from a container and a dispensing apparatus with such a valve are proposed. The valve has a spring device for returning a valve element to a closed position, the spring device being integral with the valve element. The spring device has a contact area for contact with a counterface of a valve body, the contact area forming an elevation of an outer surface of the spring device. The spring device and the counterface are in point contact with each other in any position of the valve element. The materials of the contact area and the counterface are matched to each other in such a way that they slide silently on each other. A seal of the valve is made of polyethylene or a thermoplastic elastomer. The valve is preferably designed as a full plastic valve and is easily recyclable.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2020Date of Patent: January 30, 2024Assignee: APTAR DORTMUND GMBHInventors: Bernhard Jasper, Guido Burmann, Lukas Kurosky

Patent number: 10435227Abstract: A trigger operated aerosol dispenser is disclosed for dispensing an aerosol product from an aerosol container through an aerosol valve. The trigger operated aerosol dispenser comprises a base secured to the aerosol container with a dispensing head mounted to the base. A nozzle extends through the dispensing head for communicating the aerosol valve with a terminal orifice. A trigger actuator extends from the dispensing head for actuating the aerosol valve upon depression of the trigger actuator to dispense the aerosol product from the terminal orifice. The trigger operated aerosol dispenser may incorporate a lock for inhibiting the trigger from actuating the aerosol valve. In one example, the trigger operated aerosol dispenser may be actuated in an alternate manner upon a depression of the dispensing head. Preferably, the trigger operated aerosol dispenser is formed from a two piece unit.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2013Date of Patent: October 8, 2019Assignee: AptarGroup, IncInventors: Gregory A. Patent number: 8286839Abstract: A dispensing device for a cosmetic product is proposed. The dispensing device has a valve with a female valve element. The valve element has at least one engagement section for the positive and/or locking fastening of a male valve adapter which can be inserted into the valve element after assembly of the valve. Moreover, at its sealing side, the valve element forms a wall section which is enlarged in its inner diameter in order to permit faster filling.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2008Date of Patent: October 16, 2012Assignee: Aptar Dortmund GmbHInventor: Bernhard Jasper

Patent number: 7762436Abstract: A metering valve (2) and a device (1) provided with it for metered dispensing of a preferably cosmetic liquid (3) and a process for producing such a metering valve and a use of such a metering valve. The metering valve preferably has a sealing element (14) which is injection molded onto the valve element (6) or a valve housing (7) or attached in some other way so that simple and economical production by injection molding is enabled. Optimum sealing is achieved in that the sealing element, at least in sections, is made at least annular or sleeve-shaped, seals radially with the inlet valve closed, and is supported either radially inside or outside.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2005Date of Patent: July 27, 2010Assignee: Seaquist Perfect Dispensing GmbHInventors: Reinhard Neuhaus, Bernhard Jasper

Patent number: 7600701Abstract: A spray head and a device for delivery of a liquid which enables the liquid to be delivered from a container to which the spray is connected both as a spray mist and as a jet. A first feature is that the delivery tube is shorter than the container diameter or the inside diameter of a protective cap for the container. A second feature is that the spray head—especially with the delivery tube which is and/or is not connected to the nozzle—does not project laterally beyond the perimeter of the container and/or fits under the protective cap. A third feature is that the delivery tube can be pivoted up away from the nozzle. A fourth feature is that the spray head has a groove-shaped top recess for holding the delivery tube. These features are usable singly or in combination.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2007Date of Patent: October 13, 2009Assignee: Seaquist Perfect Dispensing GmbHInventors: Bernhard Jasper, Ralf Jordan, Wilfred Otte

Publication number: 20080265060Abstract: A device and a spray head for atomizing a cosmetic fluid by with an electrically operable compressed air generator. In order to permit atomization of the fluid largely without any delay, an intermediate store for the fluid is arranged above and/or directly next to a nozzle. When the device is switched off, some fluid remains in the intermediate store so that, immediately after the compressed air feed is switched on, initially, fluid is transported from the intermediate store into the nozzle and is atomized, at least until a feed of fluid from the reservoir takes place.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 6, 2004Publication date: October 30, 2008Inventors: Reiker Canfield, Bernhard Jasper, Reinhard Neuhaus, Detlef Schmitz, Jacques Achille Blanie
