  • Publication number: 20230304561
Abstract: A switchable hydraulic bearing for mounting of a motor-vehicle assembly comprises a support bearing and a mount connected by a support spring, and a working chamber and an equalization chamber fillable with damping liquid that are spatially separated by a separating wall and connected by a damping channel in the separating wall. The separating wall may comprise a nozzle cage with two adjacent nozzle discs provided with an axial spacing. A diaphragm of rubber-elastic material may be provided in a gap between the nozzle discs. The diaphragm may be switchable by a switching device comprising an elastic lever disc axially adjacent to the second nozzle disc. An electromagnet may connect to the lever disc and can adjust the lever disc between a first position, permitting axial play of the diaphragm in the gap, and a second position, acting on the second nozzle disc and clamping the diaphragm between nozzle discs.

  • Patent number: 6345552
Abstract: A speed-adaptive vibration damper for a shaft that rotates about an axis, having a hub part, on which are located a plurality of peripherally adjacent inertial masses that are movable along curved paths that increasingly approach the axis on either side of the masses. At least one relatively twistable inertial ring is elastically mounted on the hub part. When rotational vibrations set in, a change occurs in the distance of the inertial masses from the axis.

  • Patent number: 6050555
Abstract: A vibration damper includes at least one damper mass and at least one bush bearing, the bush bearing having an inner supporting core surrounded with radial clearance by an outer supporting sleeve, a spring mass made of elastomer material that extends essentially radially and joins the supporting core and the supporting casing being arranged in the gap formed by the clearance. The damper mass has an essentially pot-shaped recess, in which the bush bearing is arranged, the supporting casing being pressed in an essentially airtight manner into the recess, and the hollow space delimited by the damper mass and the bush bearing being designed as a pneumatic spring.

  • Patent number: 5352157
Abstract: A speed-adaptive torsional vibration damper, with a flywheel which encircles a hub ring, and in which the hub ring and flywheel are at least temporarily connected to one another by first and second spring elements made of a rubber-like material. The second spring elements are distributed uniformly around the circumference of the hub ring. The second spring elements are capable of expanding in the radial direction under the action of centrifugal forces that result at high rotational speeds, and thereby are forced into engagement with the flywheel. When viewed in the circumferential direction, the second spring elements are delimited by a stop face which projects in the direction of the flywheel and which mates with a congruently shaped cavity of a third spring element also of a rubber-like material. The third spring elements are affixed to the flywheel. The stop face and the cavity have a radial clearance between each other in the non-rotating state of the torsional vibration damper.

  • Patent number: 4779483
Abstract: A torsional vibration damper comprising a hub ring (2) surrounded by a flyring (1), the two being united by at least one resilient member and being angularly displaceable relative to each other, the resilient member (3, 4) being of columnar shape and extending in the radial direction, and a clearance (6) being provided next to the resilient member in the circumferential direction between the hub ring and the flyring. The resilient member comprises a radially inner first resilient element (3) and a radially outer second resilient element (4). The ends facing each other of the first and second resilient elements (3, 4) are fastened on the inside and outside to one end (5) of a one-armed lever (7) which projects into the clearance (6) between the hub ring and flyring.
