  • Patent number: 4444032
Abstract: A device for the unlocking and locking of doors has a pneumatic blocking device (41) by which, in a third switch position of a main lock (1), all secondary door locks (3) in addition to the main door lock (1) are blocked in such a manner that they cannot be opened either from the inside or from the outside and thus can now be opened only by a main key (8) for the main lock (1). A 3/2-way valve (30) for controlling the setting members (35) of the secondary door locks (3) and the blocking device (41) is so developed that it is movable into its one position by an electric setting device (29) and into the other by a pneumatic setting device (37). The pneumatic setting device (37) is controlled by the alternating pressure which is produced by the pump (21) which is so switched and controlled that each time that it starts up it definitely alternately supplies vacuum or pressure.

  • Patent number: 4438423
Abstract: A device for producing a shift instruction has three threshold switches (6, 7, 12) which are dependent on the rpm (speed of rotation). The first threshold shift (6) is connected via an AND gate (5) to an upshift signal indicator (9). This AND gate is conductive only when the gas pedal (1) is depressed less than 20% and the speed threshold of the first threshold transmitter (6) is reached. If the gas pedal (1) is depressed further, the upshift signal indicator (9) only lights up when the speed threshold of the third threshold switch, namely the maximum permissible speed of rotation is reached. The downshift signal indicator (11) lights up when the speed of rotation of the engine drops below the threshold of the second threshold switch (7). By this development shift instructions are given which sufficiently take into account the engine power of the vehicle without the necessity of measuring this engine power.

  • Patent number: 4352404
Abstract: A device for the control of the traveling speed of a motor vehicle with an electrical controller applied by an actual speed signal and a desired speed signal, an output stage which contains a servo-motor being in operative connection with an element, preferably the throttle valve, which element influences the ratio of the fuel-air mixture that is supplied to the vehicle engine, and the output stage being electrically connected to a first switch which is coupled to the foot brake to switch the output stage into an inoperative condition if the foot brake is actuated. An additional switch which is actuatable by output stage, which switches are disposed in an electrical control circuit (which circuit influences the rotational speed of the engine) are embodied such that if the brake is actuated and if the output stage is outside the idling position the control circuit is controlled in the sense of a reduction of the rotational speed.

  • Patent number: 4352289
Abstract: A fuel consumption indicator for a vehicle includes an indication manometer having a tube spring connected with engine vacuum and connected to drive a pointer via an electromagnetic control having a variable lever arrangement positionable in dependence upon the gear selected for the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4313515
Abstract: A device for the control of the traveling speed of a motor vehicle with an electrical controller which compares the prevailing actual speed with a desired nominal speed and contains a regulating unit electromotorically controlled by the control deviation, which regulating unit is coupled directly or indirectly with an element, particularly the throttle valve, which influences the fuel-air mixture supplied to the vehicle motor. A coupling is between the element and the movable part of the regulating unit, which coupling is operatively connected directly or indirectly with the brake pedal and/or the clutch pedal of the vehicle in such a manner that during the actuation of the brake pedal or the clutch pedal the coupling is acted upon so as to separate the regulating unit from the element.

  • Patent number: 4305359
Abstract: A device for the transmission of the position of a control element, particularly a gas pedal, (which control element is actuatable by the vehicle driver and controls the traveling speed of a motor vehicle, the gas pedal being connected with an electrical position encoder), to an actuator via electrical transmission means, the actuator being coupled with a regulating member, particularly a throttle valve, which member controls the fuel-air mixture of an internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 4050021
Abstract: A moving-coil measuring system with a large pointer deflection, utilizing a pole ring having a projection, a pole plate with a projection, a permanent magnet arranged between the projections, and a moving coil embracing the pole ring. The shaft of the coil rotates in two bushings which are concentric with respect to the pole ring. One of the bushings is mounted in the pole plate and the other bushing is mounted in a support fastened to the pole plate.
