  • Publication number: 20160017710
Abstract: A coarse crusher for use at both face ends of a face conveyor in an underground mine is disclosed. The coarse crusher may have a pan module with a strand segment for guiding an endless conveying means. The strand segment may be delimited by a first pan outer longitudinal side and a second pan outer longitudinal side which lies opposite the first pan outer longitudinal side. The first pan outer longitudinal side and the second pan outer longitudinal side may have a plurality of first pan fastening apparatuses. The coarse crusher may further have a base-frame module fastened releasably via the corresponding first pan fastening apparatuses to one of the first pan outer longitudinal side and the second pan outer longitudinal side. The coarse crusher may also have a support-arm module fastened releasably to the base-frame module.

  • Patent number: 9132963
Abstract: The invention relates to a multipart chain fixing device for securing at least one conveyor chain on a trough element of especially an underground scraper chain conveyor. The fixing device comprises a bridge part (60), which has a bridge bar (62) that at least partially overlaps the conveyor chain in a positive-locking manner and ends in two lateral side end portions (61). It also comprises two side parts (70), which are fastenable to the trough element pan and to which the side end portions 61 are releasably securable by positive-locking means. For providing a chain fixing device, inclusive of the associated trough element and the individual components, which offer increased safety in underground usage, combined with simple assembly, the side parts (70) are releasably fastenable in a positive-locking manner in cavities in the conveyor floor of the trough element.

  • Patent number: 9096378
Abstract: A connecting device for connecting an attachment to a side member of a trough pan of an extracting device is provided. The connecting device includes first fittings on a side member and counter fittings on the attachment, which are detachably connectable to the first fittings. At least one retaining piece prevents detachment of fitting and counter fitting. The first fitting tapers upward in a trapeze-shaped manner and the counter fitting tapers upward in a trapeze-shaped manner, so that by a vertical movement, the first fitting and the counter fitting are able to be fitted into each other or to be detached from each other, and the first fitting and counter fitting are provided with locking strips and/or grooves which interlock in a locking state.

  • Patent number: 5267640
Abstract: A transfer station between a scraper-chain face conveyor and a scraper-chain roadway conveyor in a mine working has a frame for guiding the scraper-chain assemblies of the conveyor so that material discharges from the face conveyor to the roadway conveyor. The frame has a pair of spaced-apart side walls with identical connecting blocks fitted to their exteriors. The connecting blocks have pockets for receiving couplers and depressions which form bearing half-shells for a support for a drum around which the scraper-chain assembly of the roadway conveyor passes. The connecting blocks on each side wall can connect with connecting blocks of the drum support or with connecting blocks on an endmost ramp pan of the roadway conveyor so that the pan and the drum support can be interchanged in position.

  • Patent number: 5186309
Abstract: A transfer station for transfer of material from a longwall face to a gate or roadway of a mine working employs a box frame in which the two runs of a scraper-chain face and gate conveyors intersect. A driving drum for the face conveyor is mounted in a housing in the box frame. A baffle plate cover in the form of a pivotal flap which can be locked in the closed position is arranged on an end face of the housing receiving the chain drum. The pivotal flap preferably consists of two flap doors which can be hinged outwardly on opposing sides so that the chain drum is accessible from the exterior.

  • Patent number: 5161671
Abstract: A transfer station for transfer of material from a longwall face to the gate or roadway employs a box frame uniting a scraper-chain face conveyor with a scraper-chain gate or roadway conveyor. An opening in the tray of the face conveyor inside the box frame allows material to pass from the top run of the face conveyor to the top run of the gate conveyor. A plate like pivotal supporting element is mounted so as to be adjustable from a stowage position into a set out position and vice versa. In the set out position the support element bridges over the opening in the tray and therefore prevents a collision between the scraper-chain assemblies of the face and gate conveyors during the return of the face conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4389072
Abstract: A mineral mining installation comprises a longwall conveyor, a plough movable to and fro along a guide fixed to the face side of the longwall conveyor, and a drive station at one end of the longwall conveyor. The drive station includes a drive frame supporting drive means for driving the longwall conveyor. A support beam is provided at the goaf side of the drive station. The support beam extends substantially parallel to the drive frame. A floor plate extends beneath the drive frame. The goaf-side end portion of the floor plate is supported on the support beam by means of a lifting device, whereby the goaf-side end portion of the floor plate can be moved up and down relative to the support beam by the lifting device.
