Abstract: Speaker mounting systems configured to assembly a line array coupled to a support are provided. The mounting systems generally include an engagement system having a hanger assembly with a boom arm including upper connection points. In a first speaker, the upper connection points can be operably coupled to the support. The line array can include a second speaker having an engagement system including a hanger assembly having a boom arm with upper connection points operably coupled to the lower connection points of the first speaker. The boom arm of the second speaker can be pivotably coupled to the second speaker such that the boom arm is adjustable between at least a first position, corresponding to a first splay angle between front faces of the first and second speakers, and a second position, corresponding to a second splay angle between the front faces of the first and second speakers.

Abstract: A speaker aiming system in accordance with one embodiment includes a speaker portion movable relative to a support portion, and a rotation adjustment device coupled to the speaker portion for rotation of the speaker portion relative to the support portion in first and second directions. The rotation adjustment device has first and second arcuate guides spaced apart from each other and rear rotation guide with first and second portions. The first arcuate guide and the first portion of the rear rotation guide are positioned along a common first arc that defines a first center of rotation. The second arcuate guide and the second portion of the rear rotation guide are positioned along a common second arc that defines a second center of rotation spaced apart from the first center of rotation.

Abstract: A speaker aiming system of one embodiment includes a speaker portion that is movable and configured to be aimed in a selected direction. A tilt adjustment device is coupled to the speaker portion. The tilt adjustment device has first and second adjustment portions configured to allow the speaker and the first adjustment portion to be adjustably moved to at least one of a plurality of tilt positions relative to the second adjustment portion. The first adjustment portion has an engagement member releasably coupled to the second adjustment portion to retain the speaker portion in the one of the plurality of tilt positions.

Abstract: Speaker mounting systems and methods of mounting speakers are disclosed herein. One embodiment of the invention a speaker mounting system can include a mounting member attachable to a structure, a connector attachable to the mounting member, a docking member attachable to the connector, and a speaker housing releasably attached to the docking member. The speaker housing has a side with a receiving portion. The receiving portion removably receives the docking member. In another embodiment of the invention, a method for attaching a speaker housing to a structure includes mounting a mounting bracket to the structure, connecting a docking member to the mounting bracket using a connector, removably attaching a speaker housing to the docking member, and aiming the docking plate or speaker housing as a unit relative to the mounting bracket and structure.
