  • Publication number: 20240118771
Abstract: A proximity sensor including a structure suspending at least one lens above a circuit board, light emitters operable to project light beams through the lens along a common projection plane, light detectors operable to detect amounts of light arriving through the lens at the detector, wherein an object in the projection plane reflects light from an emitter to one or more of the detectors, and wherein each emitter-detector pair, including one of the emitters and one of the detectors, when synchronously activated, is expected to generate a greater detection signal at the activated detector than the other detectors, were they to be synchronously activated with any of the emitters, when the object is located at a specific 2D location in the projection plane corresponding to the emitter-detector pair, and a processor identifying gestures performed by the object based on amounts of light detected by the detector of each emitter-detector pair.

  • Patent number: 6374647
Abstract: Anti-theft device for spectacle frames comprising a housing (10) forming an opening (18) to receive therein one bow (34) of the spectacle frame. By clamping means (26) in the housing this can be fastened to the bow. The clamping means has a rotatable operating member, which is accessible in a socket (14) provided on the housing, and can be actuated only by using a special tool. The housing is dimensioned to allow, when fastened to the bow, that the spectacle frame is tried on and that the bow is folded. It is divided into two parts in a plane through the socket. A washer (23) provided with an alarm element for affecting a magnetic, acoustic or electromagnetic field, is pushed onto the socket receiving said socket in an opening in the washer for keeping the two parts of the housing together, and is locked against withdrawal from the socket.

  • Patent number: 5841349
Abstract: An alarm tag is provided having two parts, one of which has a pin attached thereto and extending through the part and into locking engagement with the other part. One part has means for activating an alarm device, the alarm device being either in the other part or an external alarm which interacts with the tag through an alarm field. Further, one part has a contact element operatively related to the other part such that disturbing the pin causes the contact to activate the alarm when the parts are separated.

  • Patent number: 5602530
Abstract: The invention relates to an anti-shop lifting device, intended to be passed onto and locked to a bottle-neck having an external circumferential bead. The device comprises an outer socket (15) which can be shifted in relation to an inner socket (10) between two end positions and is locked by latch means (24) in one end position. A number of retainers (21) distributed peripherally on the inner surface of the outer socket, when the outer socket is in said one end position extend into the inner socket through openings (13) in the wall of said inner socket to an engaged position in which the retainers engage behind the bead of the bottle-neck in order to prevent the anti-shop-lifting device form being withdrawn. The latch means (24) is biased to latching position but can be actuated by means of an external element (13) to a disengaged position against the bias in order to allow movement of the retainers from the engaged position and thus withdrawal of the anti-shop-lifting device from the bottle-neck.

  • Patent number: 5588315
Abstract: Safety device to be mounted on a parallelepipedic box comprises a frame (10) constructed to encircle the box and having an insert opening (11) for the box and a blocking element (13) displaceably and pivotably mounted to the frame, the blocking element being adjustable between a blocking position and an off position to prevent in the blocking position the box inserted into the frame from being withdrawn from the frame. A spring blade (22) clamped at one end thereof in the blocking element extends in the displacement path of the blocking element to engage at the other, free end thereof behind a shoulder (25) on the frame and thus to prevent displacement of the blocking element in the blocking position, wherein positive engagement is established between the blocking element and the frame in order to prevent the blocking element from pivoting.

  • Patent number: 5368162
Abstract: A theft prevention device to be mounted on a parallelepipedic box, the device including a frame with an insert opening for enclosing the box. The frame is provided with a hook shaped lock tongue, displaceably and pivotally mounted to the frame. The hooked shaped lock tongue may be moved from an engaged position on the frame where it blocks the insert opening, to a position where it can be disengaged to not block the insert opening to allow removal of the box from the frame. A latch having a rotary bolt holds the hook shaped lock tongue in the engaged position. This latch can be adjusted to free the lock tongue, for it to be moved from the engaged position where it can be disengaged from the frame.
