  • Patent number: 8360508
Abstract: A fastback for a passenger car is provided with a roof profile and a floor profile in the tail region. The roof profile initially descends from a highest profile point and the floor profile initially ascends from a lowest profile point in a rear axle region. The tail region forms an aerodynamic diffusor having a floor diffusor and roof diffusor. For this purpose, the roof profile features an S-shaped upward curvature toward an upper tail break-away edge and the floor profile features an S-shaped downward curvature toward a lower tail break-away edge. Due to the roof profile and the floor profile, the tail region of the passenger car has a shape with a fish-like profile.

  • RIM
    Publication number: 20120080932
Abstract: A rim is provided for a motor vehicle wheel that includes, but is not limited to a rim ring for receiving a tire, a rim hub for fastening to a shaft and a plurality of rim struts each connected to the rim ring and to the rim hub. Between each two adjacent rim struts a cooling opening is formed, and the rim hub and/or the rim ring and/or the rim strut includes, but is not limited to at least one fastening for the releasable connection to a flow guide plate for guiding headwind. Because of this, a rim of simple design configuration is created, which with a low aerodynamic resistance makes possible good cooling of a brake unit.

  • Publication number: 20120068513
Abstract: An unlocking device is provided for a vehicle seat of a motor vehicle, particularly for a vehicle seat with a foldable backrest, that includes, but is not limited to a basic element arranged on the backrest of the vehicle seat with a longitudinal axis, an unlocking element rotatable connected about a swivel axis to the basic element, as well as a belt guide. The swivel axis is substantially arranged perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the basic element and the swivel axis is arranged in a plane of the backrest, and the belt guide configured in the form of an open profile. Through the unlocking element an improved entering is made possible.

  • Publication number: 20110198885
Abstract: A vehicle includes, but is not limited to at least one flow influencing element with a spoiler edge arranged in a lateral rear region of the vehicle. The flow influencing element has a first position, in which the spoiler edge is substantially concealed by a body element and a second position, in which the spoiler edge is substantially exposed.
