The quality-of-care information may relate to one or more quality-of-care indicators used to incentivize a provider or consumer of healthcare services. A patient may be alerted to the quality-of-care indicators for specific medical conditions. Personalized and specific notifications generated by an application residing in the patient's mobile device or running in the cloud may be communicated to the patient electronically, including prompts to the patient to take specific action in order to best manage a medical condition or prescribed treatment.

The coordinating server either itself stores or communicates electronically with one or more other servers that store electronic records (ER), including at least some associated with the record holder. Third-party record recipients are also connected via the network to the coordinating server and possibly also to the ER server(s). The user accesses the coordinating server, selects at least one of the recipients and specifies which of the electronic records, or portions thereof, that the user wishes that particular recipient to be able to access, possibly along with other access right parameters such as an access time or period. Abstract: The present invention is related to the treatment and prevention of pulmonary vascular diseases. Administration of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) has been found to prevent and decrease pulmonary artery hypertension. Accordingly, the invention discloses methods of treating or preventing pulmonary vascular diseases such as pulmonary artery hypertension by pulmonary administration of compositions containing DHEA, DHEAS, DHEA analogs, or DHEA derivatives. Additionally, the DHEA, DHEAS, DHEA analogs, or DHEA derivatives may be used in combination with other pharmaceutical agents, such as bronchodilators, vasodilators, anti-inflammatory agents, and anti-infectious agents to treat pulmonary diseases.

Abstract: User data records, such as health or financial data, are stored in a data base at one or more remote facilities, for example, at one or more hospitals or one or more central processing facilities. For each of a card-holding group of users a card is provided. The card is preferably a "smart card," which has a memory and, preferably, an onboard processor. The card is encoded with the respective user's identifying information, as well as with information that identifies at least one remote network address of at least one remote facility where the user's records are stored. The user uses the card to activate a local processor, which then automatically accesses a network, generates and applies to the network a remote record request corresponding to the activating user's identification code, along with the appropriate remote network address(es).
