  • Publication number: 20210015045
Abstract: A method may include obtaining first data for at least one operational setting from each of a plurality of harvesters. Second data is obtained for at least one harvesting condition variable experienced by each of the plurality of harvesters that was experienced by each of the plurality of harvesters concurrent with operation of the harvesters with the at least one operational setting. Third data is obtained for at least one performance parameter achieved by each of the another brick in the wall experiencing the at least one harvesting condition variable. A performance driven operational model for harvester setting adjustment is generated with machine learning based upon the first data, the second data and the third data. The operational model is then used to adjust at least one operational setting of a particular harvester experiencing a particular harvesting condition variable.

  • Patent number: 10051787
Abstract: A harvesting head yield monitor comprises two sensing elements (328, 330) respectively disposed in two adjacent row unit covers (114). A driver circuit (400) drives one of these sensing elements (328) to produce a high radio frequency signal. The other sensing element (330) receives the signal. A signal conditioning circuit (402) receives the signal from the other sensing element. A controller (404) coupled to the signal conditioning circuit converts the received signal into a signal that indicates the crop yield of the row unit that is disposed underneath the two adjacent row unit covers.

  • Patent number: 9901031
Abstract: A method for automatically tuning an agricultural combine (100), comprises the steps of: receiving (304) a signal from an operator of the agricultural combine (100) indicating that current operation of the agricultural combine (100) operation is acceptable; determining (306) current performance parameters of the agricultural combine after the step of receiving; calculating (310) a performance parameter error limit for each of the current performance parameters in the step of determining; again determining (312) current performance parameters; comparing (314) the again determined current performance parameters with the performance parameter error limits to thereby determine whether one or more of the again determined current performance parameters falls outside its associated performance parameter error limit; and if at least one of the again determined current performance parameters falls outside its associated performance parameter error limit, then calculating (316) changes to machine settings of the agricu

  • Publication number: 20150144541
Abstract: A water filter sand level sensor is positioned inside a water filter and detects if a sand level in the water filter is above or below a critical level. The sand level sensor is connected to an indicator outside the water filter that provides a visual or audible signal regarding the sand level in the water filter. The sand level sensor may be a light dependent resistor detecting light from a light emitting diode and having a resistance that decreases with increasing incident light intensity. The sand level sensor also may be an ultrasonic transducer transmitting ultrasonic energy bursts vertically down through the water filter to the sand level and determining a time difference between a transmitted and a reflected signal.
