Abstract: This invention is intended to address the American obesity crisis by combing three of China's treasured art forms, calligraphy, brush painting and tai chi, into an easy to use exercise implement. The sword brush utilizes the whole body moving as one to stimulate healing energy, or Qi. This energy in turn spurs creativity so that beautiful works of art can be generated. The Tai Chi Sword Brush in the invention can serve simultaneous purposes of practicing the ancient martial art of Tai Chi, cultivating Qi, exercising the body, mind, and spirit, as well as creative expression through calligraphy and painting. The present invention discloses a sword brush in the size and shape of a Tai Chi sword, including a hand grip blade. The sword brush can be used as a non-lethal weapon in martial arts practice or as a brush to apply ink or paint to paper in an artistic medium.

In the age of computer-generated graphics and 64-box crayons, our youth have lost the ability to create their own shades and hues in a meaningful way that imparts their emotion, psyche, and intent into an artistic medium. Self-expression and individuality are the cornerstones of this great democracy, so empowering our youth to create a full spectrum of colors from the basic color wheel fosters the pioneer spirit upon which America is built. Every single color imaginable can be created from a color wheel consisting of the three primary colors plus black and white. The Color Wheel Artistic Implement is novel because it places the world of colors in the hands of children cheaply, with minimal processing, and with no waste. Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-colored pencil comprising a pencil lead embedded in a body made from toner powders of one or more colors, wherein the body is typically cylindrical in shape and made by compressing said toner powders against the lead. The pencil body preferably consists of two or more colors so that the colors are vertically separated. The pencil of the present invention, once sharpened, can be used to write and draw lines like any other pencil, but can also be used to draw colorful pictures using the different colors on the pencil body and the pencil lead. When new, the pencil can draw in different colors even without sharpening.
