  • Patent number: 10565760
Abstract: A method and system for generating an augmented reality image includes a kiosk and mobile computing device executing an application for interacting with the kiosk. The kiosk switches from a first set of images to a second set of image when the mobile computing device is proximate to the kiosk. A user selects one of the second set of images and the mobile computing device receives an augmented reality image according to the user selection. The mobile computing device combines the augmented reality image with a live image from a camera of the mobile computing device.

  • Patent number: 10097718
Abstract: A system and method for application reporting by a multifunction peripheral includes a document processing device having an intelligent controller controlling operations of the multifunction peripheral, including operation of a scanner engine and a print engine. A memory stores a plurality of user selectable applications for the controller. The controller executes at least one user selectable application selected from a library of available applications. The processor determines when one or more of the user selectable applications are launched. The processor outputs status data relative to monitored application launches to an associated server via a network interface.

  • Patent number: 10027839
Abstract: A system and method for customized multifunction peripherals includes a document processing controller including a processor and a memory, a scanner, a scanner engine, a printer, a user input and a display. The memory stores electronic customization groups, each corresponding to a unique business type. Each electronic customization group includes electronic files, such as forms, applications, screen backgrounds, company logos, screen positioning information, and labels. The memory also stores device customization data sets, each corresponding to document processing in the multifunction peripheral. Indicia on the display identify each of the customization groups by business type, and the user input receives a selection of a selected customization group. A customizations menu on the display lists available customizations from the selected customization group.
