  • Publication number: 20240093476
Abstract: A toilet assembly includes a flush engine having a bowl defining a sump and a trapway extending from the sump. A bowl insert is configured to be located in the bowl and a shroud is configured to be positioned over the flush engine to conceal at least a portion of the flush engine.

  • Patent number: 6805304
Abstract: Mobile chemical sprayers dispense liquid chemicals over a large area, such as a lawn or garden, in a short period of time. Individuals applying chemicals are not tethered to a fixed tank by a long hose, but can instead continuously move and apply chemicals simultaneously using a mobile chemical sprayer. This facilitates a more uniform distribution of chemical, and eliminates the need to spend time moving the tank or repositioning the hose.

  • Patent number: 5166910
Abstract: A portable device for accurately measuring acoustic velocities in solids. This portable hand-held device (100) uses dual receiving transducer tips (110, 112) to allow differential measurement of acoustic velocity in a solid. A body having a handle uses a transmitting transducer tip (108) to transmit acoustic energy to a solid. The first receiving transducer tip (110) is used in conjunction with a second receiving transducer tip (112) mounted on the body a fixed distance from the first (110). The device (100) uses the differences in the time of arrival of the wavefront at the first and second transducers to calculate the acoustic velocity in a given solid. This differential measurement method reduces acoustic velocity measurement inaccuracies.

  • Patent number: 4854497
Abstract: A trash collection unit for mounting within a fence or the like which may surround a residence includes a receptacle having an elongated housing having two opposite ends and front and rear doors connected to the housing for closing the ends thereof. The rear door provides access to the interior of the receptacle for placement of trash therein, and the front door provides access to the receptacle interior for removal of trash therefrom. The unit further includes one tension member permitting the front and rear doors to be simultaneously locked in their closed positions at the rear of the unit, and another tension member permits the rear door, by itself, to be locked in its closed position. The unit protects trash placed therein from rifling and/or pilferage, and when mounted in a fence, the unit obviates any need for an individual to walk outside of the fence for rendering his trash accessible to a garbage collector.

  • Patent number: 4484646
Abstract: A vehicle primarily intended for use as a recreational vehicle is disclosed having a pair of laterally spaced drive wheels and a pair of longitudinally spaced wheels mounted on the frame. A gasoline engine provides power to the drive wheels. Control levers are provided, one for each drive wheel, to simultaneously brake and disengage the drive power to one drive wheel. Two kinds of rotating vehicle motion is achieved. Rotation about a braked disengaged wheel occurs where the other wheel is not braked and fully engaged. Rotation about the vertical center-line of the vehicle occurs when one wheel is first braked, its power disengaged, and then its brake is released but its power remains disengaged where the other wheel is not braked and is fully engaged.
