  • Publication number: 20120062484
Abstract: An electronic device includes at least a pair of opposite touch keys defined on a touch panel, a touch sensing unit, a storage unit, a touch control unit, and a CPU. The storage unit stores a key-coordinate area relation list, which defines a relationship between the keys and the coordinate areas. A touch sensing unit included in the touch control unit generates signals in response to user touches on the keys. A touch area determining module included determines the coordinates touched according to the signals, and searching the key-coordinate area relation list to determine the coordinate areas including touched coordinates, and determines whether the touched coordinates distributed in both of the coordinate areas corresponding to the one pair of the pair of opposite touch keys. Then the key determining module determines an “OK” key is touched if yes. The CPU executes a function corresponding. A related method is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20080077618
Abstract: A production monitoring system for remotely monitoring a production device includes a database, a monitoring device, and a translating device. The database saves attribute data of the production device, and the attribute data includes operation signals, operation statuses, and production data. The monitoring device sends a monitoring message. The translating device translates attribute data sent by the production device into data recognizable to the monitoring device, and includes a parsing module and a performing module. The parsing module parses the attribute data sent by the production device, determines whether the attribute data matches previous attribute data, and classifies the attribute data if the attribute data does not match the previous attribute data. The performing module receives and processes the monitoring message sent by the monitoring device, receives the classified attribute data from the parsing module, and sends the classified attribute data to the monitoring device.

  • Publication number: 20040267508
Abstract: A computer numerical control (CNC) code-simulating system includes a number of client computers (6), a server (1), and a database (2). The database stores all information used and generated by the system. The client computers provide user interfaces enabling users to timely view information on machining of workpieces. The server is connected to a production management system (5), and is used for: obtaining turret information and machining paths of tools from the database; generating CNC code files according to the turret information and the machining paths of tools; constructing figurations of the tools according to parameters of the tools recorded in the CNC code files; simulating machining of the workpieces according to the figurations, the machining paths and of the tools and the turret information; and exporting relevant production management information to the production management system to generate statements for controlling of machining processes. A related method is also disclosed.
