Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for prolonging a continuous operation period of a methanol-to-olefins water washing process. The method may perform micro cyclone treatment on methanol-to-olefins washing water. The method may also deliver the washing water subjected to micro cyclone treatment and oil removal to a fluidized bed separator for treatment. The method may also adjust the backwash flow to release the intercepted catalyst powder and empty the dirt holding capacity of a pore. The method may also perform three-phase separation on a gas-liquid-solid mixture subjected to backwash, returning the obtained filter media to a particle bed layer, and respectively discharging a backwashing liquid a backwashing gas which comprise a catalyst. The method may also switch the fluidized bed separator to a normal working state, completing the active regeneration of the particle bed layer, and continuing to operate.

The method includes: determining, at a first device of the storage system, whether a load of a first accelerator resource of the first device exceeds a load threshold; sending, if it is determined that the load exceeds the load threshold, a job processing request to a second device in a candidate device list to cause the second device to process a target job of the first device using a second accelerator resource of the second device, the candidate device list indicating devices in the storage system that can be used to assist the first device in job processing; receiving, from the second device, latency information related to remote processing latency of processing the target job using the second accelerator resource; and updating the candidate device list based on the latency information. The embodiments of the present disclosure can optimize the system performance.

The method includes: in response to that a data persistence operation occurs in a system, acquiring a record for the operation, wherein the record includes an actual latency of the operation and a group of measurements of a group of states of the system within a predetermined time period of the occurrence of the operation. The method further includes: in response to that the actual latency of the operation is greater than a first threshold, generating an estimated latency of the operation by using a trained predictor on the basis of the group of measurements. The method further includes: determining a difference between the actual latency and the estimated latency, and in response to that the difference is less than a second threshold, identifying one or more states from the group of states on the basis of the record and the estimated latency.

The method also includes determining corresponding contributions of each state in the group of states to latencies of the group of data persistence operations based on the group of records and the group of estimated latencies, and determining one or more states from the group of states based on the corresponding contributions.

A data protection system may implement a machine model that is trained using, as input, characteristics of virtual machines. When a failure is predicted, a topology of the replica virtual machines is changed. The topology may also change when changes in the environment are detected. The changes may include redistributing the protected applications to the replica virtual machines and/or scaling the replica virtual machines.

Abstract: Techniques for intelligently routing IO to a storage class memory (SCM) namespace are disclosed. A configuration for a namespace is determined, where the configuration indicates a type of IO that the namespace is structured to handle. Details about the configuration of the namespace are stored in a repository. A forwarding rule is generated based on the namespace's stored configuration. When incoming IO having attributes similar to that type is received, implementation of the forwarding rule causes the incoming IO to be directed to the namespace. Attributes of a particular incoming IO are determined. As a result of the attributes satisfying a similarity threshold relative to the type, the forwarding rule is implemented such that the particular incoming IO is directed to the namespace.
