Abstract: A system and method for live video streaming over tactical wireless networks based on distortion estimation using multilayer perceptron neural network (MLP). The system and method can adaptively adjust the parameters of transport and application layers according to wireless network conditions, based on video distortion estimation using MLP neural network. The system includes a video motion and detail estimation block, a redundancy and video bitrate optimizer, a MLP neural network-based video distortion estimator, and video transport blocks, a packet error rate (PER) and bandwidth measurement block.

Abstract: Systems and methods for maintaining immutable data access logs with privacy are disclosed. In one embodiment, in a cloud provider comprising at least one computer processor, the cloud provider having a plurality of clients, a method for maintaining immutable data access logs with privacy may include: (1) receiving data from a data owner, wherein the data owner is one of the clients; (2) storing the data in cloud storage; (3) executing an action or condition that impacts the data stored in cloud storage; (4) generating a log entry associated with the action or condition; (5) encrypting at least a portion of the log entry with a public key for the data owner; and (6) committing the log entry including the encrypted portion to a distributed ledger so that the committed log entry is immutable and cryptographically verifiable.

Abstract: In one aspect, a device management platform is provided. The device management platform includes environmental sensors and a host system. The environmental sensors are deployed at different locations within a gaming venue, each including at least one sensor configured to capture environmental data at one of the different locations. The host system is configured to receive, from the environmental sensors, the environmental data, identify spatial data that defines a floor layout of the gaming venue and the different locations of the environmental sensors, correlate the spatial data with the environmental data to generate a spatial map of the environmental data within the gaming venue, and identify a subscriber for the spatial map. The host system is further configured to determine, based on the subscriber, access rules for the spatial map, and provide, based on the access rules, at least a portion of the spatial map to the subscriber.

The device management platform includes a plurality of slot machine interface boards (SMIBs), each disposed within and configured to communicate with one of the plurality of gaming devices. The device management platform further includes a host system communicatively coupled to the plurality of SMIGs and configured to receive gaming device information from the plurality of SMIBs regarding the operation of the plurality of gaming devices, identify a subscriber for the gaming device information, determine, based on the subscriber, read access rules for the gaming device information, and provide, based on the read access rules, at least a portion of the gaming device information to the subscriber.

Abstract: Examples of techniques for constructing, evaluating, and improving a search string for retrieving images are disclosed. In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a processing device, a plurality of images as search results returned based at least in part on a search string for an item in the form of a tuple including an item class, an action and an actor. The method further includes determining, by the processing device, whether the search string is effective at indicating a common item use based on image similarity. The method further includes, based at least in part on determining that the search string is ineffective at indicating the item use, generating, by the processing device, an alternative search string.

Abstract: A system and method for assigning a single use real-time privilege are disclosed. A processor validates credentials of a user based on comparing credentials data of the user with pre-stored reference data in response to receiving a request to access a target computer to execute a single process; creates a single use blockchain private key for the single process and generates the passcode in response to a successful validation of the credentials. The processor also writes request data corresponding to the private key and the passcode onto a blockchain. In response to receiving user login data and the passcode to access the target computer, the processor validates passcode by confirming that the passcode matches the request data wrote in the blockchain; and assigns a single use real-time privilege to the user for executing the single process in response to successful validation of both the passcode and the received request.

The gap gauge may include a first plate positionable in contact with the first bone, a second plate positionable in contact with the second bone. The gap gauge may further include a balance indicator configured to indicate a balance status between the first plate and the second plate and a pin guide. The pin guide is configured to couple to one of the first plate and second plate and includes a pin hole that is configured to guide a pin for insertion into the second bone. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention proposes a method to automatically identify the flying targets by physical information (coordinates, heading, speed), time, and identification information (3/A code). This method includes two steps: features extraction and building machine learning model. In the features extraction step, features which are extracted include: cell indexes corresponding to coordinates, information of flight path, time in day/night format, heading, speed, and 3/A code, constructing n-dimensional vector. This vector is used as input for training a Random Forest model, to automatically identify class label of flying targets.
