  • Publication number: 20090276726
Abstract: An event associated with a viewable area of an encapsulated component that represents at least a portion of content associated with a user interface component is detected. A determination is made that the event will result in at least a portion of the viewable area of the encapsulated component being outside of a viewable area of the user interface component. The content associated with the user interface component is adjusted automatically to display at least the portion of the viewable area of the encapsulated component within the viewable area of the user interface component.

  • Patent number: 7562344
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for providing real-time developer feedback are provided. The system includes a computer executing a source code editor; a feedback repository storing a programming language (PL) construct database, a profile database, and a general database; and a lexical analyzer executing on the computer. The analyzer parses code entered by a user into the editor. The constructs are used to search the construct database to determine a PL used in entering the code. The PL is used to search the construct database to determine a construct type. The analyzer searches the profile database for a developer profile of the user for the construct type. In response to a hit resulting from the search of the developer profile, the analyzer determines a frequency of occurrence of the construct type associated with the hit, identifies a cue assigned to the frequency of occurrence for the construct type, and delivers the cue to the computer.

  • Publication number: 20090126274
Abstract: To generate methane from biomass, a biomass pulp is produced from the biomass with a desired dry mass content being set, and the biomass pulp is placed under pressure. The biomass pulp is heated under pressure in order to liquefy the solid organic components of the biomass pulp. The pressurized and heated biomass pulp is heated further to at least the critical temperature of the biomass pulp. Solids precipitated under pressure and increased temperature are separated from the fluid phase. At least a part of the remaining fluid phase is gasified under pressure and increased temperature by means of a reactor to form a methane-rich gas.

  • Patent number: 7043010
Abstract: A smart phonebook search method comprises collecting, from a customer, a phone number to use for a dial-up connection, filtering any national direct dialing prefix from the collected number, obtaining a country code from an operating system of the smart phonebook search, matching a pattern of a prefix of the collected number with area codes for a country of the customer to provide a closest entry for said connection, and selecting a phone number for said dial-up connection, the phone number having a customer provided area code and the operating system provided country code.

  • Publication number: 20050218266
Abstract: A security system adapted for use on an aircraft to prevent unauthorized access into a cockpit area of the aircraft via a cockpit door. The system includes a keypad accessible by individuals in a cabin area of the aircraft. A logic system is in communication with the keypad and also with a switch disposed inside the cockpit. Occupants of the cockpit, via the switch, have the ability to manually unlock the cockpit door, to deny the request for entry, or to do nothing, in which case the door will be automatically unlocked after the expiration of a predetermined time interval. The switch further provides a cut-off switch which enables the power to be removed from the system if necessary. In addition, a display system may be employed to notify the occupants of the cockpit that entry into the cockpit has been requested.

  • Publication number: 20050097820
Abstract: The fuel reformer, especially for a fuel cell, produces a hydrogen-containing reformate from a fuel or hydrocarbon mixture supplied to it by partial oxidation (POX) and/or an autothermal reforming process. The reformer provides improved local reaction temperatures with increased conversion of hydrocarbons to hydrogen, decreased residual carbon monoxide formation and at the same time an increased yield of hydrogen. A gas supply member for distribution of reactants, such as air and/or oxygen, is arranged within the flow path of the fuel or hydrocarbon mixture in the reformer. The gas supply member has a plurality of gas supply outlets distributed in a flow direction along the fuel flow path for supplying the reactants to a catalyst material, which are distributed and formed so that reaction regions are more uniformly distributed along the flow path.

  • Publication number: 20050006528
Abstract: An electromechanical flight deck door locking system capable of functioning to keep a cockpit door locked in the event of an interruption in electrical power to the system. The flight deck door locking system includes a locking assembly including a locking component and a manually graspable handle for displacing the locking component. Further, the locking system includes an electronic control panel configured to receive data from an individual seeking access to the cockpit and for electrically locking and unlocking the locking assembly. The locking system also includes a mechanical locking assembly, such as a key lock, whereby a user can use a key to lock and unlock the door if electrical power to the system is unavailable.

  • Patent number: 5699538
Abstract: Two processor controls for supporting efficient Firm Consistency while allowing out-of-order execution of Load instructions is provided. The Touch control operates when the processor stores a subsequent Store in a pending Store buffer while awaiting any outstanding Loads or Stores. The efficiency of the pending Store is improved by issuing a Touch of the data which pre-loads the line of data in the cache that is the subject of the store. The processor can complete out-of-order execution of a subsequently issued Load relative to a prior Load, but only to its finished state. The subsequently issued Load is not allowed to complete until the prior Load is completed. The Finished Load Cancellation control ensures that Firm Consistency is maintained by canceling any finished Loads, and subsequent instructions, when the subject of the Load is the same as an invalidation request from a multiprocessor.
