  • Publication number: 20210095503
Abstract: A folding system has a bottom guide rail and a top guide rail. A first folding wing and a second folding wing are supported movably in the bottom guide rail and the top guide rail, respectively. The first folding wing has a vertically extending frame section. A lock fitting is arranged in the vertically extending frame section of the first folding wing and has a vertically slidably supported locking pin. A locking gear is connected to the locking pin and can move the locking pin into and out of one of the bottom and top guide rails. A reinforcement pin is arranged parallel to the locking pin in the vertically extending frame section of the first folding wing. The locking pin and the reinforcement pin are connected to each other such that the reinforcement pin is entrained parallel to the locking pin when the locking gear is actuated.

  • Patent number: 10767394
Abstract: A coupling device for coupling folding elements of a folding device has first and second coupling elements that lock the folding elements relative to each other. The coupling device has a locking device with sliding element whose rearward part, when the second folding element is not closed, is in a rest position in which a locking member of the sliding element engages a locking receptacle of the first coupling element when the coupling elements are latched. In the rest position, the locking member contacts a guiding contour of the second coupling element and unlocking of the locking member from the locking receptacle by pulling on the coupling elements is prevented. When the second folding element is closed, the rearward part of the sliding element contacts the frame causing the locking member to move along the guiding contour out of the locking receptacle; the locking action is released.

  • Patent number: 10683688
Abstract: A folding device as room closure has a frame and a chain of panels arranged therein. The panels are pivotably connected by alternate first and second hinge arrangements and foldable from a stretched-out closed position into an open accordion fold arrangement. First hinge arrangements are guided on guide rails of the frame; second hinge arrangements are deflected away from the frame. In the closed position, the panels are sealed relative to each other and to the frame by frame seals extending at least partially along a sealing plane. An adjusting strip in front of a lateral frame part is adjustable to adjust a spacing between adjustable strip and lateral frame part for spatial adaption to an adjacent panel. The adjusting strip has a sealing contact surface aligned with the sealing plane and resting against a seal arranged on the lateral frame part and extending into the guide rails.

  • Patent number: 6895636
Abstract: An adjustable hinge-frame arrangement, especially for folding arrangements with a hinge (5) having two hinge leaves (6), which can be swiveled relative to one another over gudgeons (7) and a hinge pin (8), each hinge leaf (6) being connected with a frame (3) of a door or window element (2) or the like, is constructed pursuant to the invention so that each hinge leaf (6) has an integral molding (9), with which it engages a corresponding recess (10) of the side surface (11) of the respective frame (3), which recess is formed with clearance in such a manner with respect to the integral molding (9), that the side surface (11) of the frame (3) and the hinge leaf (6) can be tilted with respect to one another and the hinge leaf (6) has locking means, with which the different angular positions between the side surface (11) of the frame (3) and the hinge leaf (6) can be fixed detachably.

  • Patent number: 6702271
Abstract: A profile frame (1) for holding plane elements (3) in an essentially U-shaped accommodating profile (2), the one leg of the U of which is constructed as a stopping leg (4) for the plane element (3) and the other leg of the U of which is constructed essentially parallel to the stopping leg (4) as a compressing leg (5) for clamping the plane element (3) between the two legs (4, 5), is distinguished owing to the fact that the compressing leg (5) has a clamping region (5) and a nominal deformation region (7), by the deformation of which the clamping region (6) can be pressed against the plane element (3). Preferably, a clamping element (10) can be connected with the accommodating profile (2), act on the clamping region (6) of the compressing leg (5) and presses the latter against the plane element (3). The clamping element (10) can be constructed to accommodate at least one fitting (16) or can be connected with a fitting (16).

  • Patent number: 6618994
Abstract: A rotating and/or sliding leaf system, which can be locked, with a leaf (1), which can be swiveled and/or shifted and can be fixed in a system frame by two locking bars (5), which can be shifted and are mounted opposite to one another, wherein the locking bars (5) are connected by an actuating element in such a manner that, upon pulling on the actuating element in the opening direction (7) of the leaf (1), both locking bars (5) are moved simultaneously from a locking position into a position, in which the leaf (1) is unlocked from the leaf frame and released so that it can be swiveled or shifted. The actuating element is formed flexibly from a rope (6).

  • Patent number: 6397522
Abstract: A sliding-rotating leaf system especially for enclosing a balcony with glass has several leaves (1, 1′), which have an area element (2) and can be swiveled about an axis of rotation (4) and of which at least one additionally is constructed movably as a sliding-rotating leaf (1′). The sliding-rotating leaves (1′) are mounted movably in guide rails (7) at the rollers (5, 5′). Coupling elements (9) on the rail side, traversable by the sliding-rotating leaves (1′), are connected with the guide rail (7) and can be bought into engagement with at least one coupling piece (8) on the leaf side disposed at the axis of rotation (4) of the sliding-rotating leaf (1′) and lock the sliding-rotating leaf (1′) to prevent shifting when it is swiveled.
