  • Patent number: 10840053
Abstract: A receptacle for receiving a plug connector of a high-voltage cable for a microfocus X-ray tube with a cathode, which has a metal filament and grid cap. The receptacle has a ceramic insulator with three contiguous cavities. The first cavity near the filament includes electrical contacts for the filament and the grid cap. The second cavity includes spring contacts for supplying current to the filament and a center pin for supplying voltage to the grid. The third cavity receives the plug connector. The insulator has a removable grid mounting which is conductively connected to the grid cap of the cathode. The first and second cavities are surrounded in the radial direction by the grid mounting. An air gap extends radially between grid mounting and ceramic body. At the end of the grid mounting remote from the filament is a circumferential groove in the axial direction between the grid mounting and the ceramic insulator.

  • Publication number: 20200035441
Abstract: An objective lens and condenser lens for an X-ray tube with an objective lens inner core, an inner objective lens coil arranged thereon and an objective lens outer core arranged around it. An outer objective lens coil is arranged between inner objective lens coil and objective lens outer core, wherein the outer objective lens coil has two objective lens wire sections with the same number of turns. The condenser lens includes a condenser lens inner core, an inner condenser lens coil arranged on the condenser lens inner core and a condenser lens outer core arranged around the inner condenser lens coil, wherein an outer condenser lens coil is arranged between the inner condenser lens coil and the condenser lens outer core, wherein the outer condenser lens coil has two condenser lens wire sections with the same number of turns.

  • Publication number: 20160247655
Abstract: A target and/or a filament is provided for an X-ray tube. The target includes a target base. A target element is attached to the target base. An identification element is attached to the target base. The identification element is configured to be identified in cooperation with an acquisition element on the X-ray tube and which has an unambiguous assignment to characteristics of the target. The filament for an X-ray tube includes a filament holder. A filament element is attached to the filament holder. An identification element is attached to the filament holder. The identification element is configured to be identified in cooperation with an acquisition element on the X-ray tube and which has an unambiguous assignment to characteristics of the filament.
