Patent number: 9127227Abstract: An assembly for processing green biomass material for pelletizing into a fuel pellet includes a heating assembly, a drying assembly and a cooling assembly. The heating assembly heats a thermal fluid to a temperature within the range of 200° F. to 550° F. The drying assembly includes a rotating dryer drum that has a plurality of thermal fluid tubes therein. Material that is dried in the dryer drum is conveyed to a rotating cooling drum that has a cooling tube extending along the interior thereof. A nozzle is mounted on the end of the cooling tube to discharge cooling fluid on the material therein, and a plurality of flights are mounted on the interior of the cooling drum and arranged to direct material from the inlet to the discharge outlet as the cooling drum is rotated.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2012Date of Patent: September 8, 2015Assignee: ASTEC, INC.Inventors: J. Donald Brock, Malcolm L. Swanson, Gary L. Catlett, Jeffrey Blake Pruett

Patent number: 8167907Abstract: A therapeutic treatment table includes a plurality of table sections for supporting the body of a patient, one of which sections is a drop section. The table includes an extension/flexion section which includes a frame having a pivot axis and a terminal end, and a rotary actuator that is adapted to repeatedly pivot the frame of the extension/flexion section about the pivot axis so as to raise the terminal end of the frame during an extension phase and to lower the terminal end of the frame during a flexion phase. A mechanism is provided for setting an operational range of motion for the extension/flexion section including an operational extension limit and an operational flexion limit, so that the rotary actuator will pivot the frame of the extension/flexion section between the operational extension limit and the operational flexion limit.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2005Date of Patent: May 1, 2012Assignee: Encore Medical Asset CorporationInventors: Blake Pruett, Charles Brophy, Durrell Martin

Patent number: 7381214Abstract: A therapeutic treatment table includes a frame and a table section for supporting at least a portion of the body of a patient. The table section includes a body support and a drop mechanism that is mounted between the frame and the body support and adapted to drop the body support from an upper position to a lower position. A fluid actuator is mounted between the frame and the body support and adapted to raise the body support from the lower position to the upper position, and a mechanism is provided for controlling the flow of fluid to the fluid actuator in order to control the rate by which the fluid actuator raises the body support from the lower position to the upper position.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2005Date of Patent: June 3, 2008Assignee: Encore Medical Asset CorporationInventor: Blake Pruett

Patent number: 6872230Abstract: The present invention relates to additives for enhancing the lubricity of hydrocarbon fuel oils, the inventive additive composition including one or more of the reaction products of (i) an alkylated polyamine and (ii) urea or isocyanate, or the salt adducts of these reaction products. More particularly, the present invention provides for a process for improving the lubricity of hydrocarbon fuel oils, which are low in inherent lubricity due to treatment to reduce sulfur and aromatic components for improved emissions.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2002Date of Patent: March 29, 2005Assignee: Betzdearborn, Inc.Inventors: Collin W. Cross, Zen-Yu Chang, S. Blake Pruett, Alan E. Goliaszewski

Patent number: 6679905Abstract: The invention comprises a chiropractic table having a base, a plurality of frames, a plurality of drop mechanisms, and a plurality of cushions. The base has a longitudinal axis and the plurality of frames are attached to the base. Each frame has a first lateral side and a second lateral side which are substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the base. In addition, each frame has a pair of transverse sides which are substantially perpendicular to the first and second lateral sides. Each lateral side includes a frame hole. The frame holes in the first lateral side of each frame are substantially identically located with respect to the transverse side associated therewith, and the frame holes in the second lateral side of each frame are substantially identically located with respect to the transverse side associated therewith. The table is also provided with a plurality of cushions, each of which is adapted to be received by a frame.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2001Date of Patent: January 20, 2004Assignee: Encore Medical Asset CorporationInventors: Christopher H. Peetros, Blake Pruett
