Abstract: An electrical connector for electrically connecting wires includes first and second members pivotally coupled together. The first member has an opening and the second member has a receptacle, where the opening of the first member and the receptacle of the second member are configured to generally align when the first and second members are in a first position such that wires can be inserted through the opening of the first member and into the receptacle of the second member for electrically connecting the wires. A metallic coil is positioned within the receptacle of the second member and configured to electrically connect the wires. And, a sleeve is positioned adjacent the receptacle of the second member, generally above the metallic coil, for holding insulating material in the electrical connector to help coat the wires when the wires are received into the electrical connector.

Abstract: A cutting assembly for cutting tubing generally includes first and second arms pivotally coupled together such that the first arm can pivot relative to the second arm, and a blade releasably coupled to the first arm and/or the second arm and oriented such that a longitudinal axis of the blade is generally parallel to a longitudinal axis of the first arm. The blade is removable from the first arm and/or the second arm by sliding the blade longitudinally in a direction along the longitudinal axis of the first arm. A release mechanism operates to selectively allow the blade to be removed from the first arm and/or the second arm.

Abstract: A fitting connectable to an end portion of a pipe generally includes an insert member configured to be received at least partly within the end portion of the pipe, a retention member coupled to the insert member and configured to be received at least partly within the end portion of the pipe, and a sealing member carried by the insert member adjacent the retention member. The retention member and seal engage the end portion of the pipe to help frictionally secure and seal the end portion of the pipe on the insert member when the insert member is received at least partly within the end portion of the pipe.
