Abstract: A lift stool for use in conjunction with removable pot or a stationary toilet bowl is provided to assist disabled person in being lowered toward a seated position and elevated back up to a standing position and the lift stool includes elevated arms rests which may be swung upwardly to out of the way positions to enable a person to assist a more seriously disabled person in using the lift stool, a control for raising and lowering the associated toilet seat being mounted from one of the free swinging ends of the upwardly swingable arms rests and the lift stool including support wheels normally spaced slightly above a horizontal surface upon which the lift stool rests and over and onto which the lift stool may be rearwardly tilted to a position in which the raised armrests may be used as handlebars for manually rolling the lift stool over a floor surface.

Abstract: A base frame is provided as well as a forward seat support, a rear seat back support and a kick panel support. First linkage structure is connected between the base frame and the seat back support for guided movement thereof between a raised generally upright position and a lowered generally horizontal position, second linkage structure is connected between the base frame and the seat support for guided movement thereof between a first generally horizontal position and a second slightly rearwardly and downwardly inclined position and third likage structure is operatively connected between the base frame and the kick panel support for movement thereof between a lowered upstanding position disposed foward of the main frame and a raised horizontal position.

Abstract: A base frame is provided as well as a seat support and a seat back support. Mounting structure supports the supports from the frame for movement between first seat defining positions and second bed defining positions. The seat support is horizontally disposed and projects slightly forward of a forward marginal portion of the base frame when in the seat defining position and projects further forward from the base frame when in the bed defining position. The seat back support is disposed in horizontal position immediately rearward of the seat support when in the bed defining position and is disposed in an upstanding position spaced above and projecting upwardly from rear marginal portion of the seat support when in the seat defining position.

Abstract: A device for aiding a user in climbing a tree to a vantage point where the device serves as a supporting platform includes a lightweight platform which attaches to the user's feet and is provided with spurs for penetrating into the tree trunk. Stabilizing frameworks project upwardly and rearwardly from the opposite sides of the platform to straddle the tree trunk and two separate devices are provided to attach between these frameworks to pass behind and engage the trunk. One is a rigid bar used normally during climbing and the other is a flexible metal strap below the bar. When a limb is reached by the bar the strap is fixed in place while the bar is swung aside thus allowing the assembly to be elevated so that the bar can then be reattached above the limb so that detachment of the strap allows the user to climb further.
