Abstract: The hairclip (1) has two legs (4, 5) and a hinge (6) with a spring (7) connecting the legs. The legs (4, 5) each have a tine base (10, 11) and a number of curved tines (8, 9) arranged in rows on one side of it. Each tine base (10, 11) is adjoined by an actuating section (12, 13) on the opposite side. The two actuating-sections (12, 13) are disposed asymmetrically relative to a length of the tine bases (10, 11) and opposite each other. For the sake of tight spacing and easy manipulation, these hairclips (1) are placed on the curlers (2) in such a way that the actuating leg sections (12, 13) of one hairclip (1) are not disposed in the immediate vicinity of the actuating leg sections (12, 13) of an adjacent hairclip (1).

Abstract: A hairclip (1) for securing a lock of hair (3) wound onto a curler (2), where the hairclip (1) has two legs (4, 5) that are connected to a spring (7) by means of a hinge (6). The legs (4, 5) have a number of curved clip tines (8, 9) that are arranged in rows, each row with a tine base (10, 11). Each tine base (10, 11) is adjoined by an actuating leg section (12, 13) on the opposite side and the two actuating leg sections (12, 13) are disposed asymmetrically with regard to the length of the tine base (10, 11). For the sake of a tight spacing and easy manipulation of the hairclips (1), hairclips (1) are used which have asymmetrically situated actuating leg sections (12, 13), where the hairclips (1) are placed on the curlers (2) according to the method in such a way that the actuating leg sections (12, 13) of one hairclip (1) are not disposed in the immediate vicinity of the actuating leg sections (12, 13) of an adjacent hairclip (1) (FIG. 5).

Abstract: A compressed gas container apparatus having at least two compressed gas containers disposed side by side, each for one foamable liquid product which contains a liquidified propellant gas, wherein both compressed gas containers are each provided with a valve; both valves are actuatable in common by a top fitting, and each valve is provided through the top fitting with a connecting conduit; the connecting conduits discharge into a mixing chamber and an expansion conduit adjoins the mixing chamber and on its end has a foam dispensing opening; wherein the connecting conduits and the mixing chamber have such small cross-sectional areas that when a product is dispensed, the products flowing through the connecting conduits and the mixing chamber remain in a liquid phase.

The second gas passage (20) is connected with the first gas passage (19) and with interior chamber (12) in the lower position of the valve body (3).

Abstract: The two-channel top device for a spray can for making two different spray patterns is provided with an operating rod (11) having two connecting ducts (21,22) associated with the respective spray patterns, a manually-operated spray activating button (14) arranged on the operating rod (11) which is provided with two different nozzles (15,16) for the respective spray patterns, the connecting ducts (21,22) being connected with the respective nozzles and having respective inner openings at different axial positions on the operating rod (11) and a self-locking sealing member (29) slidably mounted on the operating member and movable between stops in the spray can.

Abstract: The permanent wave clip (1) has three curlers (2,3,4) which can be arranged parallel to each other including a releasable and exchangeable hair tip curler (6) rotatable about its axis which is clipped in a curler holder (7). A curler (2), which is a hair root curler (9), has a smaller diameter than the hair tip curler (6). The central hair curler (3) can be pivoted out of and into a parallel relationship with the other curlers by means of a pivot (17) in a preferred embodiment. The permanent wave clip (1) is easily operated and provides an outstanding hair root curl.

Abstract: A two-chamber container for accommodating flowable substances separately from one another has an upper chamber and a lower chamber, a reduced diameter bottle which separates the chambers from one another and is provided with a plug in a plane of the reduced diameter, a rotary cap provided with a plunger and turnable so that the plunger is pressed from the plane of the reduced diameter into the lower chamber so as to bring both substances together. The rotary cap has a thread in the upper chamber, while the plunger has a threaded portion engaged in the thread of the rotary cap. The plunger is formed as a tubular plunger which has a first end and a second end formed so that in a base position the first end of the plunger is connected with the threaded portion of the plunger in fluid-tight manner and the second end of the plunger extends through the plug into the lower chamber, and the plunger is connected with the plug in fluid-tight manner.

Abstract: The dispensing apparatus for a liquid spray or a foam includes a reservoir chamber; a manually operable air pump device for pressurizing the reservoir chamber with pressurized air, the manually operable air pump device including a nondetachable operating handle in a bottom region of the apparatus, a piston pump responsive to the operating handle for pressurizing air and a pressure equalizing valve communicating with an outer atmosphere; a metering valve connected with the reservoir chamber through which the foam or liquid spray is dispensed and a one-way valve connecting the manually operable air pump device with the reservoir chamber to permit flow from the manually operable air pump device to the reservoir chamber and to prevent flow from the reservoir chamber to the manually operable air pump device; and a motor driven pressurized air filling device for feeding pressurized air to the reservoir chamber for professional applications requiring repeated pressurization.

Abstract: A device for the spraying of fluids includes an air pump which can be driven electrically via a switch, a container for the fluid to be sprayed, and a nozzle whose air inlet opening is connected with the air pump via a compressed air duct, a valve which, together with a switch, can be actuated in such a way that, in order to initiate a spraying process, the switch is first closed and the valve then opens connections between the compressed air duct and an air space of the container the fluid conduit and the fluid inlet opening. At the conclusion of the spraying process, the fluid conduit and the connection between the compressed air duct and the interior of the container are blocked, and a connection between the compressed air duct and the fluid inlet opening is opened.

Abstract: An arrangement for treating hair with a liquid in a circulating process, comprises a circulating pump, an electric motor arranged to drive the circulating pump, a treatment time determining device, at least one treatment start switch arranged to control the treatment time determining device, the treatment time determing device being connected with the electric motor so that the electric motor is turned off at a treatment end, and a sensing element arranged to sense a parameter of a treatment liquid and operative so that the treatment time determining device is controlled through the sensing element in dependence upon the parameter of the treatment liquid which no longer substantially changes.

Abstract: A multichamber container with no compressed gas therein comprises an outer container and an inner container for pourable substances which are to be kept separate. The substances may be combined inside the container for the purpose of extracting a mixture of substances. The inner container has an open end which is connected to an inner side of a cap with positive locking, in a non-rotatable and axially detachable manner, and has at least one projection on the outside wall. The outer container is connected to the rotatable cap by means of a snap connection and has at least one projection on the inside wall. The projectins of both containers are formed in such a manner that they intercommunicate for combining the substances by rotation of the cap. The inner container is axially detachable from the cap.

Abstract: In a container for a first substance, an ampoule, which can be broken while the container is closed, is provided for a second substance. The container has a base and a rotatable cap. The ampoule spike is mounted in the region of the base. An eccentric on the cap is operatively connected to the ampoule that the base of the ampoule moves transversely to the longitudinal axis of the container on turning the cap, and the ampoule is mounted so as to be pivotable about the region of a predetermined breaking point.

Abstract: A bag (1), e.g. a sachet for holding portions of paste or liquid such as shampoos or bath additives, made from sheet material (2) has an edge (4) closed by a flat connecting seam (8). A tear zone (10) is provided in the outer region of the connecting seam (8). To facilitate tearing open of the bag (1), a rod (9) is provided in a portion of the connecting seam (8) extending on both sides of the tear zone (10), and extends in the longitudinal direction of the seam.

Abstract: An arrangement for spraying liquid from a bottle comprises an air pump and a member which actuates the pump when a spraying action is desirable. The air flow is transmitted into the interior of the bottle to pressurize the liquid and urge the latter into a liquid outlet conduit which has a lower end extending into the liquid in the bottle and a discharge end outside the bottle. The arrangement is further provided with an element for spraying the liquid when the latter under the pressure supplied into the bottle enters the discharge end of the outlet conduit.

Abstract: A container for separately accommodating two materials and mixing the same, has a first and second wall bounding a wider and narrower chamber, a connecting sleeve having one portion which is sealingly fitted on the first wall and another portion extending in an opposite direction and having an outer thread, a discharge cap connected to the second wall and having an inner thread which meshes with the outer thread of the other portion of the connecting sleeve so that the discharge cap is movable relative to the connecting sleeve, and a separating member having a separating portion which disconnects the chambers from one another and a projecting portion which extends into the narrower chamber and is held by the second wall. The second wall has an outer projection engaging in an inner groove in the other portion of the connecting sleeve so as to retain the discharge cap on the other portion of the connecting sleeve during unscrewing of the former.
