  • Publication number: 20220152867
Abstract: The present invention relates to a three-dimensional (3D) printing process for the (layer-by-layer) production of at least one at least three-layer concrete-comprising segment (subregion) of a three-dimensional (3D) object based on concrete. In the process, a first concrete layer is firstly produced by extrusion of fresh concrete. Subsequently, a first adhesive layer is applied on top of the upward-facing side of the first concrete layer, after which a second concrete layer is applied to the upward-facing side of the first adhesive layer. Further adhesive and concrete layers can optionally be applied in succession, with the corresponding concrete layers and adhesive layers in the respective segment being arranged on top of one another in alternating order and the uppermost layer and the lowermost layer of the respective concrete-comprising segment being in each case formed by a concrete layer.

  • Patent number: 8535558
Abstract: The present invention relates to microcapsules comprising a capsule core and a capsule wall, where the capsule wall is constructed from 50 to 90% by weight of one or more C1-C24-alkyl esters of acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid (monomers I), 10 to 50% by weight of one or more polyvinyl monomers (monomers II), and 0 to 30% by weight of one or more monounsaturated, nonionizable monomers (monomer III), which are different from the monomers I in each case based on the total weight of the monomers, to a process for their preparation, and to their use in binding construction materials, textiles and heat transfer liquids.

  • Publication number: 20090078164
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of epoxy derivatives which have been prepared by reacting a di-, tri- or tetraglycidyl compound (A) with an optionally unsaturated reactive component (B) consisting of a C8-C28-fatty acid, a C8-C28-alcohol or a secondary C8-C28-amine as additives to cementitious building materials. The epoxy derivatives proposed according to the invention are outstandingly suitable as compositions for preventing or suppressing efflorescence on surfaces of set cementitious building materials and/or for hydrophobing the corresponding cementitious systems. In addition, the cementitious products take up substantially less water owing to the additives proposed according to the invention, with the result that frost damage and rapid rusting of the reinforcing steel can be substantially reduced.

  • Publication number: 20070161724
Abstract: The invention relates to copolymers based on unsaturated mono or dicarboxylic acid derivatives, oxyalkyleneglycol-alkenyl ethers, vinyl polyalkyleneglycol or ester compounds, in addition to the use thereof as additives for aqueous suspensions base don mineral or bituminous binding agents. Said invention is characterized in that the inventive copolymers, having a long lateral chain, impart small amounts of excellent processing properties to aqueous binding suspension, and simultaneously cause the water content in the concrete to be greatly reduced.
