Abstract: A disease management system and method that use a wired and wireless communication network, in which motivation and consistent encouragement to change a behavior of a user or a patient may be given by close acquaintances or other people who have knowledge about a corresponding disease, instead of an expert. Thus, with regard to disease management that consistently needs normal and frequent communication, a role of an expert may be minimized to a necessary degree, and a more effective and efficient health care service, compared to a conventional health care service, may be provided.
