  • Patent number: 10790935
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for efficiently transmitting error-tolerant traffic in low power and lossy networks (LLNs). The method for transmitting an error-tolerant traffic includes when a packet is received, modifying a medium access control (MAC) layer of a receiving device to perform received signal strength indication (RSSI) sampling at a symbol rate and estimating a symbol error rate of the packet in the MAC layer based on the sampled RSSI value, and when the estimated symbol error rate is lower than a specific value, transmitting the received packet to a higher layer.

  • Patent number: 10206160
Abstract: Provided is a Weighted DESYNC based cross-layered resource allocation method. The method includes, with respect to each of a plurality of nodes constituting a routing path, calculating a link quality value with the next node, receiving a link quality value from at least one neighbor node, and based on the link quality values in the calculating of the link quality value and the receiving of the link quality value, calculating a weight factor for synchronizing a transmission yield.

  • Patent number: 10015753
Abstract: A system for downlink transmission using heterogeneous power includes a plurality of sensor nodes, a coordinator connected to a network including the plurality of sensor nodes and configured to transmit data to the plurality of sensor nodes, a power source configured to supply power required for the coordinator to transmit data to each of the plurality of sensor nodes through a single transmission passage at a position away by a specific distance from the network, to the coordinator, and a battery configured to supply power required for the plurality of sensor nodes to perform communication within the network, to the plurality of sensor nodes, wherein when a destination node as a reception target of the data, among the plurality of sensor nodes, receives the data, the destination node transmits a signal indicating the data reception to the other remaining nodes among the plurality of sensor nodes.

  • Patent number: 9999050
Abstract: The present invention relates to a bio-inspired distributed wireless resource allocation, and a method of solving a conflict of a firing phase allocation in the bio-inspired distributed wireless resource allocation includes (a) selecting a reference firing phase having a preset degree of allocation-available space, on the basis of firing phase allocation information within a received firing message, when a newly-entered node attempts the firing phase allocation, (b) calculating changeable positions of the reference firing phase and a succeeding firing phase of the reference firing phase under assumption set based on the firing phase allocation information, and (c) setting a space between the changeable positions as an allocation-available range and allowing the newly-entered node to be allocated with an arbitrary firing phase within the allocation-available range.
