    Abstract: A workpiece clamping device of an engraving machine is mounted on a workbench of the engraving machine. The workbench has a stop portion and a slide groove. The workpiece clamping device includes a slide member which is slidable along slide groove, a fixing member inserted through the slide member, and a holding member which is obliquely disposed on the slide member. When in use, the workpiece is placed on the workbench and one side of the workpiece is against the stop portion. The slide member is slid to lean against the other side of the workpiece. Through the fixing member, the slide member is secured on the workbench. The holding member is operated to hold against the workpiece. The workpiece can be secured on the workbench quickly.

Thereby, in the planing operation, the pressing rings adjust their positions upward or downward in accordance with a configuration of a workpiece. Whereby, the workpiece is restricted rather than warped. As a result, the workpiece does not resume warped after being planed smooth, which allows the two-sided planer to achieve a preferable planing operation.

    Abstract: A two-sided wood working planner includes a base which is coupled with an adjustment seat. The adjustment seat includes a front press rod, at least one rear press rod and an upper plane blade which are pivotally connected in the adjustment seat. The adjustment seat further includes two movable units at two opposing sides thereof. The front press rod has a rod body. The rod body has an outer wall provided with a plurality of protruding members. Each of the protruding members has a head extended out of the outer wall of the rod body. When the front press rod is operated to send the material, the protruding members will hold against the workpiece to form point contact with the workpiece. In this way, the workpiece can be pressed effectively and the workpiece won't be deformed, so that the two-sided wood working planner can exactly plane the workpiece.

    Abstract: A two-sided wood working planner includes a base, an adjustment seat and at least two auxiliary pressure cylinders. The base includes a plurality of straight screws thereon. The adjustment seat has a plurality of threaded holes corresponding to the screws. The screws are screwed to the threaded holes, so that the adjustment seat is mounted above the base. Two ends of each auxiliary pressure cylinder are connected to the base and the adjustment seat, respectively. The auxiliary pressure cylinder has a prestressing force to lift the adjustment seat with respect to the base. The flank at one side of threads of the screw is against the corresponding flank of threads of the threaded hole to eliminate the backlash between the threads so as to prevent the adjustment seat from vibrating during the operation of the two-sided wood working planner.

    Abstract: A working platform provided with a manual wood planer is provided with a base the two sides of which are both formed with workbenches, a working platform being thereby formed. The workbench is formed with a pedestal and a granite slate is mounted at the top of pedestal. The slate is polished and ground into a working portion at the top, and a combination portion at the bottom, and several securing holes are on the combination portion. A strip-shaped hole opposite to each securing hole is formed. The position of slate may be tuned and the error margin of distance between the thru hole and the securing hole is allowed to avoid the slate, when being secured, from cracking. A first transmission member and a second transmission member respectively pass around the first and the second driving wheel.
