  • Patent number: 4093530
Abstract: Device for electrochemical treatment of workpieces includes a change-over means for actuating the delivery of the workpiece of an electrolyte or a washing medium and their discharge after the workpiece is treated. This change-over means consists of a distribution valve, a control element and a mechanism for separating the discharge of the electrolyte and the washing medium. The distribution valve is located at the junction of separate conduits for the electrolyte and washing medium and operatively connected with the control element so that the distribution valve shuts off alternately the conduit for the electrolyte or the conduit for the washing medium.

  • Patent number: 4085025
Abstract: Apparatus for electrochemical machining of workpieces, comprising an electrolyte splashing-preventing device comprising a protective casing mounted on a movable crossbeam and connected with the exhaust pipe of an exhaust device, likewise mounted on the movable crossbeam and connected telescopingly with a ventilation conduit for movement therein against an abutment to close off the ventilation conduit when the electrode is retracted from the workpiece being machined.

  • Patent number: 4083767
Abstract: The apparatus for electrochemical machining of workpieces comprises an electrode tool adapted to be fed during a machining operation toward the workpiece mounted on a work table and to be retracted from the workpiece for an inter-operation interval, a pump arranged in a common line upstream of the point of branching off of the working line for supplying the working fluid from a tank to the workpiece and of a bypass line for circulation of the fluid through an intermediate vessel into the tank for the fluid, and also a line switching control means connected with the control elements of individual valves mounted in the working and bypass lines, the means having two rods rigidly connected with the electrode tool and extending in the direction of the feed of the latter, their length being adjustable, the individual valves being fixed on the work table, each under the respective one of said rods, for interaction of the rod with the control element of the respective valve, as the electrode tool is being fed toward

  • Patent number: 4077287
Abstract: The invention relates to automatic lines for cross cutting of coiled strips and is used to best advantage for cross cutting of coiled strips into plates intended for the manufacture of transformers. The automatic line of this invention comprises guillotine shears which are pivoted in the horizontal plane and intended to cut plates off a strip; non-pivoted guillotine shears intended to cut off sharp angles of said plates, said non-pivoted shears being mounted on a slider which is movable along the automatic line's axis in order to fix the non-pivoted shears at a desired distance from the pivoted shears in order to simultaneously cut off sharp angles and cut out plates; and a strip feeding mechanism being provided with only one pair of rollers driven by means of a reduction gear driven by a step electrohydraulic drive which feeds the strip, as well as accelerates, brakes and, if necessary, reverses the strip's motion to ensure a prescribed plate length.

  • Patent number: 4040318
Abstract: A transfer machine for cutting rolled sheet metal comprises a sheet loading arrangement, a feed mechanism for moving a sheet to the blades of guillotine shears, an arrangement for sorting and stacking cut-off blanks, and a program control system. The sheet loading arrangement comprises a receiving table which is fixedly mounted and located on the axis of the transfer machine, and a four-member linkwork with a sheet grip. The linkwork is constructed so as to provide for transferring a sheet from a stack onto the table of the feed mechanism along the axis of the machine, the sheet remaining parallel to the table of the feed mechanism during the transfer. Fitted on the table of the feed mechanism is a sensor responsive to the passage of the rearward sheet edge. This sensor provides for measuring the dimensions of blanks from the rearward sheet edge on the reverse stroke of the feed mechanism.
