  • Publication number: 20230045972
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to roofing systems, for example, suitable for covering the roof of a house or other building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a roofing system that includes a plurality of riser blocks disposed on a support surface. The riser blocks include a group that is aligned in a row. A batten extends along the row and is supported by the group of riser blocks. The batten includes a first clip portion. A group of roofing panels is disposed along the row and is supported by the batten. Further, each of the roofing panels of the group includes a front surface, a rear surface, and a second clip portion extending from the rear surface. The second clip portion is configured to engage the first clip portion of the batten so as to secure the roofing panels to the batten.

  • Publication number: 20190016017
Abstract: An apparatus for forming an injection molded article is disclosed. The apparatus includes a pumping system to deliver a silicone formulation to a mold, the silicone formulation having a viscosity of about 50,000 centipoise to about 2,000,000 centipoise. The mold has an exterior housing and an interior cavity therein, wherein the silicone formulation flows into the cavity of the mold. The apparatus further includes a source of radiation energy, wherein the radiation energy substantially cures the silicone formulation within the cavity of the mold to form the injection molded article. The present disclosure further includes a method of forming the injection molded article and a mold for an injection molded article.

  • Patent number: 9937604
Abstract: An abrasive article has an abrasive portion with a bond and abrasive particles. A core is mounted to the abrasive portion. The core may include a plurality of segments that are interconnected to form the core. The abrasive article may include forming a plurality of core segments; assembling the core segments into a core; and then mounting the core to the abrasive portion to form the abrasive article. Forming an abrasive article may include mixing a phenolic resin, fillers and abrasive particles to form an abrasive matrix; injecting the abrasive matrix directly into a mold, such that the abrasive matrix is injection molded into a final wheel geometry; at least partially curing the abrasive matrix while it is inside the mold; and then removing the abrasive article from the mold.
