  • Publication number: 20070023235
Abstract: A supporting body (2) is provided for the scaffold poles (3) of a position scaffolding (1) for positioning one or several tension jacks (29) or other functional elements. The supporting body (2) includes a joint (19) for connecting to a manipulator (30) and several double clamp devices (32) provided with paired clamping elements (4) for the cantilever fixation of the scaffold pole (3). The double clamp devices (32) includes parallel adjacent bars (5, 14, 16, 17) which are jointed to the supporting body (2) and form at least one pole reception area (8) whose cross section is adapted to the scaffold pole.

  • Publication number: 20060181092
Abstract: A manipulator-guided gripping device (1) for motor vehicle body parts includes a number of device parts (6, 7) and a safety device (9), which serves to determine geometrical changes of the device parts (6, 7, 8). At least one deflection safety device (10), which prevents collisions, is provided on the device parts (6, 7, 8). The deflection safety device (10) is mounted on a junction point (23) between the device parts (6, 7, 8).

  • Patent number: 6457574
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a handling device (36) for one or more clamping frames (14) for components (3), especially shells of vehicles, in processing stations (1). The handling device (36) has one or more rotatably driven connecting rods (10), which are mounted in a carriage (5) that can be moved by a motor along a transfer line (2) at one of their ends and have a holding device (13) for receiving the clamping frame (14) at their other ends. Two connecting rods (10), which are arranged in two coupled carriages (5) in the manner of a four-bar chain and are rotatable around parallel axes (11), are preferably present. The handling device preferably generates a feed movement of the clamping frames (14) which is essentially linear and is directed at right angles to the transfer line (2).

  • Patent number: 6398279
Abstract: An interchangeable coupling is provided for removably fastening tools (2) to manipulators (3). The interchangeable coupling has two coupling parts (5, 6) with a form fit lock (7). The lock has several mobile balls (8) and a piston (11) for moving the balls. The coupling parts (5, 6) have corresponding cavities (9, 10). The cavities (9) in the tool side coupling part (5) are essentially cylindrical ball channels (30) with an oblique channel axis (31). In a locked position, these cavities (9) accommodate the blocking balls (8). The channel axis (31) preferably slopes from the robot-sided cavity (10) towards the tool side (2).

  • Patent number: 4710093
Abstract: The invention concerns a manipulator (1) which is able to automatically receive the tool holder (7), to clamp it and to set it down again, in order thus to make possible a rapid changing of different tools. For this purpose, the last drive element (6) of the manipulator (1) as well as the tool holder (7) are provided with coupling parts (8,9) and with cooperating screw systems (16,17). The manipulator-side screw system (17) is mounted via an operating element (11) for rotation at a second operating element (10) which forms a rotation barrier (13) with the tool holder (7) as the coupling parts (8,9) come together. The screwing process is actuated by rotation of the last drive member (6). The two operating elements (10,11) are furthermore non-rotationally connected through a fixing mechanism (20). This rotation lock is abolished as soon as the rotation barrier (13) between the operating part (10) and the tool holder (7) becomes effective.
