  • Patent number: 5476176
Abstract: An enclosed semiconductor wafer holder, and a cover providing isolation control of semiconductor wafers that is simple, lower cost, and non-obtrusive is described. The device includes a cover with a sealing perimeter that creates a hermetic seal when engaged with the semiconductor wafer holder. It also includes a purging means attached to the holder that allows an active gentle purging of inert gas into the sealed semiconductor wafer holder. The holder has contoured recess-forming pairs that do not effect semiconductor wafer transfer when the recess forming pairs are warped. The recess-forming pairs also have integrally corresponding ribs that help prevent warpage of the contoured recess-forming pairs during the plastic injection molding process.

  • Patent number: 5385180
Abstract: A spill inhibiting funnel system is described that has stepped fins and blades extending, respectively, from the outer and inner surfaces of a tapered funnel body. The fins allow the funnel to be variably positioned with respect to a receiving container's opening in a secure fashion to prevent spills. Likewise, the stepped blades allow a pouring container to be securely placed inside the funnel and remain there in an inverted upright or angled position.

  • Patent number: 5375708
Abstract: A hard clear hangable package, locking cover and key for use in retail merchandising of video games and the like to further reduce the amount of business losses attributable to theft. The device includes a locking cover with an outer lip that prevents opening of the container without the precise key. It also includes a clamping member attached to a key base that automatically rotates into engaging position allowing the box to be removed from the locking cover, permitting the contents of the security box to be removed. The device firmly contains video games or the like.

  • Patent number: 5038677
Abstract: A can crusher for compacting cans, such as aluminum soft drink cans, into a substantially flat configuration for storage, recycling or disposal. The can crusher includes a base with opposing flanges and a handle which rotates about the flanges. The handle includes an extending crimping member which compresses the center of the can downwardly, and also forces the ends of the can inwardly. The handle also includes a flat surface which then flattens and rotates the ends of the can towards a mid-portion of the can into a substantially flat configuration. The first action of the extending crimping member against the can and the second action of the flat surface against the can crush the can into a substantially flat can which is environmentally and ecologically useful in recycling processes. The crushed can consumes less space in recycling operations or disposal, and environmentally and ecologically presents itself in a more pleasing manner for recycling or disposal.
