Abstract: A metrology three-dimensional (3D) scanning system includes a metrology 3D scanning application (app) comprising computing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, causing the one or more processors to: record human-robot interaction (HRI) data as a human operator operates the HRI device; generate a preliminary scan path based on the HRI data for operating a robotic element within an operating environment; move the robotic element along at least a portion of the preliminary scan path and record preliminary scan data comprising at least a subset of dimension data defining at least a target object; generate a metrology scanning path plan and a motion plan for the robotic element based on the preliminary scan data; and execute instructions to move the robotic element within the operating environment according to the metrology scanning path plan and the motion plan for scanning the target object.

Abstract: There is described a system and method for managing timeseries data. A timeseries consumer receives timeseries data from multiple devices, provides the timeseries data to a particular partition of a data table based on an insert time of the timeseries data to the data table, and records metadata associated with the timeseries data provided to the particular partition at a track table. A timeseries archiver identifies recent records of the data table based on insert time(s) and archival time(s) of a milestone table, archives the timeseries data of the data table associated with the recent records to an external system, and updates the archival time(s) of the milestone table and the track table. The timeseries purger drops an archived partition of the data table based on determining that all records of the archived partition have been archived.

Abstract: A pedestrian safety system for a restaurant having a drive-through lane for an automobile, a pickup window, and a pedestrian door. The system includes lane sensors proximate the pickup window that generate lane data indicate of the proximity and motion of an automobile. A controller is in data communication with the lane sensors and programmed to determine proximity and motion status data regarding an automobile in the drive through lane. A pedestrian visual alert member is positioned proximate the pedestrian door of the restaurant and includes Stop, Go, and Caution indicator lamps. An appropriate lamp is energized by the controller depending if the lane sensors detect an automobile moving downstream in the drive-through lane, stopped at the pick-up window, or the lane is clear. The system may also include pedestrian sensors inside the restaurant and a lane visual alert member having indicator lamps to indicate a status of pedestrian traffic.

Abstract: Luminescent solar concentrator (LSC) devices are provided herein. The provided LSCs include devices having an oriented luminophore in at least one layer of the LSC device. Other LSC devices include LSCs having both a collector wave guide, incorporating a luminophore, and a transport wave guide, having no luminophore, into which luminesced light from the collector wave guide travels. Additionally, wave guides for use in LSCs are provided that include guided-wave plasmon-polariton modes for improved optical transmission within LSC devices. The devices provided herein, either alone, or in combination, provide improved LSC device performance, particularly with regard to overall device efficiency.
